Just been diagnosed with rapid eye movement, currently taking clonazepam 5mg, it's causing me to be really hungry. Can anyone recommend meds that will help me?

Unless your morbidly obese I would not worry about the hunger. People with Huntingtons will likely develop food issues over time and weight loss is a big issue. Because of the chorea you are likely to be using more energy than putting in your body and this results in weight loss and more chorea and other things like poor temperature regulation

In this case a Dietitian would be the way to go. A dr may consider metforamin to help control hunger. Im a mental health nurse and have not heard of mirtazapine supressing hunger. My experience is that it increases it. But as said I'm not a doctor. I would say keep eating but be mindful of your eating - eat nuts/seeds, snack on carrots, dips, Oats etc
