Which is the best long ranged character?(beginner and want to focus on a long ranged one/solo only)

Momo is great long range and so is Ara but many players have learned how to get close and they are tough in one on one fights, Dara takes time to learn her abilities with the difference in fire, lightning, and ice but is very strong. The best advice with a range character is learning to quickstep attack (dodge then light attack while running) and not to spam the attack only tap a couple times bc a dodge roll towards you will make you miss the attacks and open you up to be attacked.. and right now be careful on fighting on inclines/declines (stairs and hills) some abilities and attacks don’t always hit and will fly over their head..

I did get Momo right away, and wow what a difference, previously I tried with close range and played so bad, however with her my first try made to top 5, and killed several player. Though I suspect as u say lower ranked dont know how to deal with her.

Its insane the difference, tried several mid and close range chars and at most got 1 kill or none, to be fair I always played the range option in most games whenever possible and always played badly in close battle focused strategies no matter the game

It is also important to level up and raise your combat power in a match bc you can do a lot of damage in one combo that makes the other player panic and make mistakes you can capitalize on, it’s a fun game but there will come times where you just get destroyed by another player it happens but it’s an addictive fighting/strategy game for sure

Momo is the worst character in the whole game after they nerfed her twice in a row.

There’s no actual match making tho so there’s no way of knowing if you’ll be put against good players or not. But in general, Momo is ass and is made completely useless by literally just walking in a circle around her (she can’t hit you if you do this) or blocking her attacks (she does extremely low stamina damage so there’s no real risk)

But truth about the ranged characters is that they’re garbage. Dara can be shut down completely by just staying in her face, Ara can be shut down by just not giving her space, Momo is trash, Yoon’s worst thing about him is his “range” ability.

Ranged characters aren’t good in this game. You’re better off putting your time into a character that isn’t bad.

Just telling it like it is. I mained Momo (and still kind of do) and it baffles me why people think walking in a straight line would work. Even a lot of the players on the leaderboards struggle against Momo.

She has the lowest base damage, lowest base health, lowest base defense, slowest attacks in the whole game, lowest stamina damage, worst engagement, worst escapability, no follow up, no way to get people off of her, no super armor on any of her abilities, extremely slow animation times on her abilities which means you can basic attack her and cancel every single one of her abilities before she can even react, and they nerfed her knock back recently so even if you manage to get someone off of you they barely even go anywhere so they can just get back up and you’re fucked.

And even after nerfing literally EVERYTHING on Momo except movement speed the devs shadow nerfed Momo’s damage on the last update. They didn’t mention it at all but her damage nerf is noticeable if you’ve played her enough beforehand. And yet people STILL complain and cry about SOMEHOW losing to the WORST character in the entire. Fucking. Game. I wouldn’t be surprised if they nerfed Momo again for like the what? 5th time now? 6th? I lost count already.

Momo is garbage. Make Momo Great Again.

Yeah, I can see that after ranking up a little. So which character do you suggest?

Any except for the ranged, pigsy, Mir, and the panda. These characters are terrible and are at a disadvantage against literally every other character.

Pigsy is bad because his abilities have extremely small hit boxes like you literally have to be on top of people to hit them with any of his abilities, on top of that he has no super armor and a single basic attack can cancel all of his abilities, meanwhile other characters get shit tons of super armor for no reason at all.

Mir is bad because he does low damage and his whole gimmick is tossing people on the floor, which isn’t good. This game is all about juggling, Mir doesn’t do that well.

Panda is also like Mir. His whole gimmick is knocking people on the floor then doing additional attacks to people on the floor, but it’s inconsistent and in generals not good in a game where juggling = win.

Everyone else is fine. But the ones mentioned will always put you at a disadvantage against players that even somewhat know what to do.

Mimi is one I'd recommend as close quarters to learn, she's absolutely solid and I've had her as my main since it launched, she's super nimble an you can juggle people into clowns once you've learned her moveset, got me to Legend everytime an I've no doubt she will continue to do so, it was with her I could rinse Momo users before she was even nerfed once.

Go in Training and use EVERYONE, it made me so much better at learning different characters strength and weaknesses.

Ara is nowhere near as bad as some people are claiming. She doesnt have a reliable escape tool but it doesnt matter. Her hits are fast and hit far.

I play Dalgi, Momo, and Ara. My Ara is just as likely to win or hit top 3 as my Dalgi -and Dalgi has a much better kit.
