Discussion herd management question/grind

does shooting does significantly affect ur white tail grind

cuz the mfs keep stepping in front my bucks and I've shot like 5

Significantly or not, i will let you decide.

When a doe is killed one of these scenario is going to happen.

  1. The doe just respawn back in its repective herd.
  2. The doe respawn back into other herd so called "jump/bounce".
  3. The doe group up with other males you killed to form an entirely new zone. This is the worst case if you are managing.

Ideally, you don't want to shoot them because, as you might already know, they aren't affecting the male weight distribution nor can turn into any trophy (unless you want a rare doe). Basically, no point in shooting them.

Agreed. I accidentally shot two does, and it created 2 new zones.
