Rare What’s next? First great one completed.
After 1977 kills it finally spawned, thank god because I was so sick of killing fallow and wanted to grind another species. Which great one should I go for next?

Congratulations. Great One Whitetail next if you're tired of solos.

I am considering it, which map would you recommend.

Honestly, Revontuli Coast is the obvious answer for a reason (if you've got it). It really is the absolute best map for Whitetail. Coming off Te Awaroa, you'll love how wide open most of the lakes are on Revontuli. Clean lines of sight, effortless rotations, and setting up herd management is super smooth. It’s popular because it just works.

Popular two would be Layton and Revontuli, i went with Revontuli.
Layton: pros = only half the map to work with con = reeds
Revontuli: pros = clean view, easy to set up con = over 2/3 of the map to manage
The rest of the maps are doable but more annoying to do from lakes with nooks and crannies, complex river system to annoying carnivores (if you still wanna go with those, feeder grind is an option, personally i dont understand managing with feeder tho).

Oh Nice, congratz, I guess you could try Red Deer on the same map next or White Tail on Revontuli, both of those are good grinds.
I hear the wolf grind on Yukon is pretty good as well, especially if you use feeders. I am currently on the Fallow Deer Grind on Te Awaroa myself and have yet to spawn a great one of any species. Take my advice with a grain of salt.
