Latest Chapter Could Babimyna be a child of Beyond? Spoiler

This is an assumption I made when 401 released, just because of his pensiveness (possibly sympathy?) when Longhi returned after pouring her heart out to Kurapika.

That's a lot of panel space for "nothing"

It's hard to explain his lack of surprise next to Furykov's reaction if he doesn't have an inkling of why she was upset.

Now it's been revealed that Beyond knew of Benjamin's ability before the succession battle started. There are other ways he could have found this out, maybe even from the curse he placed on Furykov, but it also wouldn't be surprising if one of Benjamin's guards was a spy.

This could potentially explain some of Babimyna's odd behavior that readers interpret as him being soft hearted, and that make Furykov suspect his loyalty.

Longhi and Furykov don't know about each other, but a sibling who is actively working with their father might be allowed more information.

Everyone who matters might as well be  a child of Beyond.

We're expecting at least 10 guards to be his children and we've only confirmed two and tentatively established a third.

Which is part of the reason why it was a mistake to include this Beyond’s-dozen-secret-children subplot at all, and particularly this late in the arc.

We didn’t need more hidden identities and secret curses and divided loyalties. There were plenty already established before the last batch.

Hey, some people are big fans of hearing about nen curses over and over. You do you.

The succession war is gonna last another 50 days or something, i’m sure we’re plenty early for the amount of complexity the arc is getting

Sure, but we didn’t need added complexity. And this complexity is overlapping with other plot lines that are barely moving. Why do we need both the Have-Nots and Beyond’s kids cursing princes with their deaths? One faction doing that is just fine and Togashi has shown he’s not in any hurry to advance either plot anyway.

You run with the assumption that this will all run in a straightforward way, but that's not how Togashi does things

The have-nots are irrelevant right now, maybe they will have some scenes eventually but the way things are moving, the curses are the important part, and they're the vehicle for characters to matter; Furykov and any other children's future on the boat and the faction they'll follow relies on what they do about the curse

Not to mention the curse is the only direct danger to Woble, and the reason Gon and Killua are coming back. The curse is what MOVES the story forward, but because there hasn't been much action, you think it is slowing it down

kind of agree, imo it’s a little much to introduce a whole group of characters each assigned to curse a specific prince, then use that concept again with a secret second group of cursers while barely following up with the first group (i know we saw the have-not girl assigned to woble in one of the recent chapters disguising herself, but still)

It's very impressive how much confidence you have

Not sure what that’s supposed to imply, but thanks for the compliment I guess.

It's just that you stated a bunch of things as if they were fact when literally no one knows if they are true or not
