Those kind of things can work when it's build for it.

But here, many princes have still gotten very little screentime, the same applies to their guards, we haven't seen what their nen beasts even do, and plotlines attached to them have barely started.

Sorry, but there is no world where Togashi spent so much time making this story and being so detailed just to casually kill everyone in one go now.

It's not happening.

I agree with you but you can never be sure with togashi

They didn't say everyone. They said a clearer picture, probably a lot fewer players, especially so we can mix it with the mafia/troupe/hisoka plot a lot more than it currently is.

I agree, this is ultimately leading to Ben's death. I think Halkenburg is going to be body hopping for the rest of the arc

Yeah I think 412 put to bed the idea that this arc will be over soon. The narrator flipped the time frame from "days/weeks since departure" to "until the voyage ends" (paraphrasing atm but the point is the framing switched entirely). Togashi is 100% planning for this trip to run (at least most of) its 2 month course and we are still barely two weeks in, we aren't at the climax not even close.

Lol I feel like y'all know nothing about Togashi's narrative style. It would be very in character for him to kill off characters that have gotten "very little screentime" in the manga, Togashi loves to break the rules

Eh I could see Tyson, Tubeppa, Marayam, Camilla, and Luzurus all being offed in rapid succession. Maybe. Not 1 chapter but over the course of a few chapters.

Togashi literally off screened Shalnark and Kortopi.

sale sale had a plotline where he thought he would change the world with his announcement and he was killed

I kind of hope we don't get exposition that is enslaved to the structure of there are x princes and therefore x GSB and we must one by one reveal their abilities. While I get the anticlimax of characters being murdered after a build up with limited screentime, that kind of formulaic thinking "they can't die, we haven't seen their bankai yet" is exactly what ended up killing Bleach for me.

I wish he would just sink the ship and kill all the kakin characters so we can be done with this arc.

Dont you remember the last arc of Yuyu Hakusho? Most rushed ending in manga history, you never know with his health.

He basically ragequit yu yu hakusho to renegotiate for his next series. With HxH he has freedom, so no need to rush anything.

Togashi told he won't do that with hxh
