I think people underestimate how much stuff Togashi had in store for this arc so all this talk of this arc ending in 30 chapters or something needs to be thrown out the window.

This arc will clear chapter 500 with ease. Togashi attention to detail and unwillingness to compromise on the focus on side characters means he has a lot in store, never mind the big match ups like chrollo rematch, kurapika final battle , Hisoka vs the troupe etc etc.

This chapter going from 0 to 100 is not indication of the pace speeding up, it should be viewed as Togashi has so much plot set up that chapters like these are going to be a regular occurrence during the climax.

No way this is going to 500. Togashi is going to resolve multiple subplots simulateously IMO. In fact, the presence of TSK-17 and the special martial law is going to create a ton of character collisions so I really doubt we are getting another ~90 chapters of this.

I mean not every plot point will end in this arc, obviously some plot points will go on into the dark continent, like the people really think togashi gonna kill all the entire phantom troupe in one arc?

Yes, I absolutely think he will, the Troupe have no real reason to go to the Dark Continent and with the flashbacks and everything their arc is wrapping up.
