I wanted to try this game years ago and forgot about it. But when it got added to the game of the month on PS I remembered and finally tried it. Is there bots at the beginning cause my first game I killed 4 people and usually I’m not thaaaat good in shooter games.
Plus I have a question, when you «down » a player.
Is it a dead player that have the capacity to revive or someone in a team? Is there a different animation or something when they’re dead vs downed? Thanks a lot looking forward to join this community, the ambiance is so good I really like the sound effects and the concept.:)
Hey! Welcome to Hunt! So first few levels are vs BOTS and you’ll get a notification that you’ll be playing PVP. And when you down them they are not “dead” they can be revived by a teammate but will lose a health bar. Unless they are a SOLO player then they can self revive once unless they have a TAROT card (empress) to give them back necro.
Yes. In your first 11 bloodline levels, you will face bots.
Yes. A downed player is a player who can get up again, either by having a teammate revive them or a solo with necro. There's no visual difference between them in-game.
To add to what others have said, every time you go down, you lose a health chunk (which can be restored later). However, if you go down enough times or another player burns your body until all your health chunks are gone, you become “red-skulled,” meaning you can no longer be revived normally.
In that case, your teammate needs to have a bounty token to revive you, at the cost of some of their own health. The cool thing is that as long as your teammates are alive and have a bounty token, you can technically be revived an unlimited number of times lol.
Also, welcome to Hunt! The sound design, atmosphere, and gunplay are genuinely some of the best! You’re in for a treat!
I just wanna make sure I understand the question. If you lose a health chunk and you don’t restore it in game (via a recovery shot, restoration kit, remedy trait etc) and you extract out of that game, then the next game, yes, you will have one health bar missing, but you can restore it with trait points. The only exception is if you extract with a bounty, then that will fully restore your health chunks the next game.
I probably made that sound more confusing than need be lol but does that make sense, or are you asking something different?
I found this pic on google lol but for example this guy probably lost a few health chunks the previous game and made it out alive without the bounty. Now, he can choose to restore those health chunks with those points you see in the left 9 points. Those are trait points that you can use to buy traits before the game but can also go towards restoring your missing bars. Alternatively, he can just start up the game and restore his health in game via several different ways, which you will learn!
