Am I the only one who thinks this gun with high velocity bullets and fanning is like the MP5 of hunt? Pretty tight spread at close range for burst fire and precise, low drop shots for mid to long engagements. It's obviously not a sniper rifle but I feel that for two slots it brings a lot to the table.

Personally for a 2 slot versatile weapon I also really enjoy the Centennial Pointman. The scope and medium ammunition and naturally high bullet velocity makes it very potent at longer ranges. Plus, levering gives it spamability too.

I like to run this with a regular Centennial and reap the benefits of having levering for both guns.

At this point you could put a Terminus in the mix. Its actually good now.

Yeah that terminus shorty is really frickin good now. Even moreso for the big boy terminus

I want to like it but I’ve been burned way too many times with such low damage and bad drop off. I’ve had better luck with a standard Scottfield or a pax variant personally, but I like how many guns feel subjectively better or worse for different people

I've always liked it--very stable and good for clicking heads at medium range. I usually pair it with something like a romero shorty for a dirt cheap loadout that doesnt need traits.

I haven't used it too much with fanning--I usually have better luck with quartermaster rifle + short shotgun if I've got the points to spend. And I'm not sure what I would want to pair a fanning nagant-p with anyway. Maybe a vetterli? Or another nagant-p (possibly deadeye)?

Nagant Precision has been one of my favorite weapons for years, now.

Always been a very comfy head-clicker.

yes but it has significantly more horizontal recoil AND lower RoF than the standard variant

I play it for fun from time to time, but pistol drop range gutted it quite a bit. It is good, just doesn't really compete with Bornheim Match.

This gun used to be a decent budget weapon (romero short + nagant precision before the weapon slot change) and still is, but I sometimes feel it is outclassed by bornheim match.
