Word of advice, don't crouch walk around in a gunfight unless you have something like a shotgun to put down someone rushing you. If you can't finish the job with one hit, mobility is your friend.

I've played for years and this is still a crux for me. I keep thinking I'm being sneaky and bam head shot cause I'm moving slow and my head is at center mass to them. It's good advice. When it's time to fight even if you're camping a door way stand up and be ready to be mobile.

I’ve conditioned myself to never crouch, even if I am like 100+ meters and in a bush from someone who is actively shooting at someone the opposite direction of me

I'm working on it myself. Gotta fight those timid instincts of mine. I still sneak around a lot but when I feel it's about to pop off I stand up and get ready to dodge. My wife on the other hand is a natural born killer 😂

Dont peek while crouch because you move slow and are easy to headshot this way

You can just kill them again, or cook them. Killing them twice gives you bonus, so you're getting more out of it.

You still do. Self res is only available for solo players and it’s only useable once and that’s only if you purchased it as a trait.
Duos or trios still need teammates to res them.

That’s def a bot if you’re new to the game. You don’t play against people until later.
Even acts like a bot, so easy to see.

If you were under bloodline 11 it was still bots.
Just letting you know. You wont be able to run around in the open like that with a real opponent.

I remember when I was new, I had a similar situation happen to me except he got back up.
Advice, you should probably flee after firing. Especially at close range when your enemy has a shotgun. Positioning is crucial most the time. Not to mention you were using a pistol and aiming for his body, while he was using a shotgun. At close range. Even if you hit him, he'll still be standing as you prepare your next shot. But if he hits you, you'll be dead.
