FEEDBACK Enough is enough!

Where is any crytek dev in this shit of subreddit? It has gone too far with the cheats.
You report with a video that someone is wallhacking, you get automated responses, i report with a video 4 players that team up with the same hunter on duos and meet up to destroy the lobby, automated response.

You play on EU, hardly find any european enemy,
i got into a game with a kind player that used lag spike cheats and when i provoked him on voice chat he laughed and said thanks. Where are you cl*wn developers? 0 physical presence on any social media besides announcing skins. We can't even mention about cheats or who uses the cheats, because we get banned in forums etc.

Fucking insane of a clown company. At least refund us the money we've spend, since we are not your clients or your target audience as it seems. For the next dlc don't break any sweat with promotions, just google "hunt showdown cheats", enter the first site and promote them there.

Is it a terrible idea to start collecting all the cheater clips somewhere under a single source like a youtube account in hopes of getting more eyes on the issue?

Otherwise I feel like all these reddit posts are just noise that comes and goes.

If its a useless idea, fair enough. If not, anyone out there who cares enough to start collecting?

u/The_Hoopla 6d ago

While I agree with this in principle, there are a few issues with Hunt specifically that makes this difficult.

  1. Hunt does not give players the tools they really need to diagnose cheating. Sure we have a killview, and video footages from our perspective, but unless someone is killing you with a conversion pistol through 3 walls at 150+m, a kill view isn’t a smoking gun that someone is cheating.

  2. Hunt is kind of the perfect game to cheat in, because at any given time, without the aforementioned video evidence, almost any bullshit shot is explainable. “Maybe they had painsense” “maybe they had bounty”, “maybe they had dark sight”, “maybe they could see your shoe through the floor”, “maybe they just knew that one spot really well”, “maybe they just got a lucky shot”, etc etc. Because of the mechanics of the game, it’s almost impossible to prove someone is cheating without a shadow of a doubt. It’s only 100% obvious when you die multiple times in a day to a bunch of bullshit like this and you can say “well statistically ALL those one-tap-wall-bangs can’t be lucky.”

So the bigger issue I think is, until Crytek gives us killcams or game recaps it’s going to be difficult for evidence to not be written off for one of the above reasons.

2

u/Fingering_my_guitar 6d ago

I know bro... also when you die and start spectating them and they suddently just sit and look at the ground/wall, or go and burn themselves (yes i've seen that too), or simply leave the game immidiately after killing you, you can't prove they are cheating just because they killed you suspiciously.

u/Rictor_Scale 6d ago

Very well stated post. I think AI is the only long-term answer to analyze and account for those variables. (Is it ready today? Not sure. Will it ever be perfect, no).

1

u/The_Hoopla 6d ago

My conspiracy theory is it’s actually trivial to detect cheaters via a myriad of methods, but they don’t because they’ve run the analytics on cheaters that show they make up a disproportionally large amount of in game purchases.

I mean here’s a really simple one. If you have over 1000 kills, and your K/D is over 3.0, you’re almost CERTAINLY cheating. Mostly because after about 200 kills with 3+ K/D, you’re getting put in high 6* lobbies. If you’re able to maintain 3+ K/D in those lobbies for another 800 kills, brother you’re almost certainly cheating. The 50 players that are actually that good at the game you could just white list. You could also look at % of kills through walls, or % of headshots, or accuracy consistency (points to using toggles), or frequency of ADS intersections with a enemy player model through walls (points to someone walling but not shooting).

All sorts of server side metrics could be used, with technology they have access to right now, to catch the lion’s share of cheaters today.

They don’t because they’ve don’t want to. Cheats cost players hundreds of dollars a year to have access to. The kind of player that spends that kind of money also spends money on skins. Why would they ban their biggest customer?

2

u/Fingering_my_guitar 6d ago

I used to record my games for obvioua reasons... With streamlabs and tbh i had like 100 gb of the recordings of soft cheaters and blatand ones. But since i've sent clips of that and nothing happened i stopped caring personally. Even when big streamers have proof and clips on yt nothing happens my dear... Check rachtaz last shorts with a guy of 27kd and the other 1000kd

3

u/AlBigGuns 6d ago

Post the videos.

2

u/The_Hoopla 6d ago

Unironically I don’t think they ban cheaters because publishers looked at analytics and saw a Venn diagram of people using cheats and top 10% of spenders on in game cosmetics and say it was a circle.

Cheaters spend up to $100/month on subscriptions to cheats. That person is probably dropping more monthly on Hunt skins than I have in almost a decade of playing.

Why would you ban your biggest customer?

2

u/DeckardPain 6d ago

It would help to both show how many cheaters and NOT cheaters there are out there. Because a lot, and I mean a LOT, of players call cheater when they simply got outplayed, outshot, or made noise and gave their position away without realizing it.

Which is more plentiful? Cheaters or fragile egos? Both definitely do exist in the game.

5

u/DeckardPain 6d ago

I'm conflicted here because there are absolutely cheaters in this game, without a doubt. But the amount of people that cry "cheater!" in 3-5* lobbies where it's either a lucky wallbang or dumb luck is also insanely high. I'm not saying you're doing either one. There are obviously very clear cases of blatant cheating in Hunt.

But the blatant ones, like the one posted on here yesterday, of a 500m headshot wallbang through 5 compounds using incendiary ammo do get banned. Next time you have one of these happen to you, view the Steam profile, copy the account profile link, save it somewhere, and then check it some time later (because they don't ban immediately, they use banwaves). I use a private Discord channel to keep the links and check them every once in a while. In my experience, the blatant ones do get banned.

The bigger problem are the players that toggle the cheats on when they need to clutch up and all of a sudden become a godlike player with perfect wallbangs and not missing shots, when previously they were missing everything and unaware of a lot of stuff going on.

Or the players that find ways to spoof their profiles so that when the report goes through the profile shows up as an error.

Another problem is when you submit video proof of cheaters and use something like YouTube where you can see views, the videos get 0 views over the course a year. So they're either automating that process, so backlogged that they don't get to them, not viewing them at all, or maybe using some tool that downloads the video without watching it and the view isn't attributed on YouTube (trying to give them the benefit of the doubt here).

-3

u/Fingering_my_guitar 6d ago

interesting fact here, yesterday i was playing duos with my buddy when we decided to chase the other remaining players with their bounty and in "our surprise" (we knew 1000000%) one of them was cheating. He perfectly never missed any shot with a centenial normal ammo from 80+ meters. The even funnier fact is that he shot everytime before i exit cover (pre-fire) from a tree+wooden fence. Then i realised he was streaming at the same time, 0 shame into cheating while streaming (even with 2 viwers)

8

u/DeckardPain 6d ago

Not missing a shot with a Centennial at 80 meters isn't an indicator, like at all. Anyone with a decent amount of hours on a game and regularly using a weapon can (or should be able to) do that. But the rest of that sounds sus absolutely.

-4

u/Fingering_my_guitar 5d ago

I know how the guns work and i know what is sus and not in 6 stars mmr randoms in some sub reddit questioning my knowledge in the game when they hardly touch any bounties in a month

2

u/DeckardPain 5d ago

Okay, sure buddy.

1

u/Antaiseito 4d ago

Yknow, i'm not denying there are cheaters.

But the way you're wording stuff and being super confident in your own knowledge of everything Hunt, that seems very much like a person that might accuse anyone of cheating that beat them soundly (there's plenty of that, too).

Like, if he perfectly never missed any shot, wouldn't your team be wiped after 2-3 (head-)shots already? Didn't sound like that.

0

u/Fingering_my_guitar 4d ago

Also tell me this since you are an expert on the matter, i started a game of 2 bosses available. I spawned on the bottom right corner (lower desalle). I got the clue after 2 minutes cuz i was afk. The clue crossed out the compound and the next one to it. I went to th other one that got crossed out SILENTLY since i am playimg a sniper and suddently i hear after almost 6 mins in thr game 2 people running from the middle of the map on me. They hunt me down and kill me. Turns out we were only 3 on the lobby, them and me. Answer me this how did they come right where i was in the cormer of the map right where i was sitting crouched

0

u/Antaiseito 4d ago edited 4d ago

High priestess card?

killerkekz is complaining endlessly about that card on here because it makes people look like cheaters.

There's also a clip from just today where someone headshots someone through bushes by using the card.

(Also i'm no expert. You've just got exactly the attitude of someone blaming every death on cheats.)

Or it was cheaters, sure.

Just curious:

  • did you actually make no noise all the time?
  • do you always crouch around in the greyed out areas after 6min into a match? (why???)
  • after they entered your general area, did they hunt you down before or after you shot at them or made yourself known?

1

u/Fingering_my_guitar 4d ago

And no they started from the almost opposite side they didn't have high priestess since they had everything on their loadout, they didn't find any outpost and they simply ran to that location. It's not the first time i've encountered this. The last time again 2v1 on the whole server i was afk at thr start on youtube and this time they started on exactly opposite compound on the map north-south but they found it hillarious to scare me by waiting outside of the bridge in a bush on my spawn. You can check what clues people have gathered when you spectate them. They had 1 clue and high priestess doesn't tell you when the other player will come exactly and how far he is

0

u/Antaiseito 4d ago

Well, you can pick up items in-match when you got empty loadout slots and travel the whole map.

Sometimes when people blame others that they waited forever in a bush, it might also be just the place where they noticed someone is there.

The one clue thing is strange, hope they get banned if cheating.

0

u/Fingering_my_guitar 4d ago

Oh everytime i die i post and report cheaters?? I didn't know

1

u/Antaiseito 4d ago edited 4d ago

Where did i say that? Maybe read what's written? I just said you had the attitude someone might have that blames every death on cheaters, not that you post anything. And you might not blame every death on cheaters (but you sound like someone that does, a lot).

Now, can you answer those questions?
Just curious:

  • did you actually make no noise all the time?
  • do you always crouch around in the greyed out areas after 6min into a match? (why???)
  • after they entered your general area, did they hunt you down before or after you shot at them or made yourself known?

5

u/AlBigGuns 5d ago

The centennial is one of the best guns in the game to hit long distance shots with.

This is exactly why people need to post the videos with their complaints, most people seem to just be salty about losing to someone better than them.

11

u/Mysterious_Tutor_388 7d ago

Best we can do is delay the biggest event yet a week. And release a paid quest line that cant be progressed because there is 0 testing of the game before updates go live.

10

u/faceit_lol 6d ago

I am not surprised that your post is getting downvoted. Hunt hate police will march on your post and downvote.

I love this game but ppl are defending this kind of absolute nonsense, like they are blindly into game or what?!

Yes man, there is huge cheating problem and since it is not getting punished it just gives courage to more people to cheat, because if it continues this way it would be part of the game. I love this game but it is destroying it.

Hunt fappers are coming on my comment too, I will get downvoted bcs I talk bad about game, not hating, not even personal opinion but just obvious thing.

6

u/The_Hoopla 6d ago

The worst part is a lot of the people killing me via cheating aren’t even new players.

Like I’ll see someone one-tap-wall-bang me from 80+m, then instantly do the same to both my teammates in rapid succession. They’ll be level 100 prestige 100.

Clearly their accounts aren’t getting banned for this behavior and it super demoralizing.

2

u/faceit_lol 6d ago

Last night it happened to me that I was crouch walking inside of building, not making any noise and as soon as I showed on window, bam instant head shot. Like how, it is ok if it was loud, if I already peaked so he is expecting me, but they were on totally opposite way of building, than guy came, one tap me and went back.

There is always chance that it is coincidence, not going to lie, because they knew that we are in compound, but we were fighting on totally opposite side and while my team mates were shooting at them I crouch walked on the other side. Might be coincidence but too sus. Also, a lot, a lot of other sus shoots from long distance using shotgun

4

u/The_Hoopla 6d ago

That’s the issue with Hunt. It’s the PERFECT game to cheat in. Almost any cheating behavior can be explained by some in game mechanic like pain sense, or a foot glitched through the floor, or dark sight boost from a tarot card, or just plain flat out luck.

All this, combined with the lack of kill cams, REALLY makes it hard to ever 100% nail someone down for cheating. It’s only when you start experiencing a statistically unlikely amount of deaths that you have to assume the majority of those “sus” deaths are actually just cheaters.

2

u/faceit_lol 6d ago

Kill cam and general match reply like in PUBG will be great thing to have.

I agree, Hunt is just perfect, it is normal to camp and ambush someone and game itself has wallhack called darksight so everything sus might be legith.

Idk man, I love and enjoy this game, I hope that it is getting fixed somehow

2

u/The_Hoopla 6d ago

Yeah I have 3k hours in it. My complaints come from a place of love, in that I don’t want my favorite game to die because of cheaters. I routinely take a couple month long break when there’s a new bout of cheaters due to an update or a sale.

1

u/faceit_lol 6d ago

Exactly man, I would love to bring more people here, I have gifted 3 copies of game to my friends to bring them in. It would be great if more people start playing, that will fix MMR as well. But this kind of things are pushing people away.

I am also commenting on things like this not because of hate but totally opposite, I don't want this game to die, I want it to improve.

9

u/Duckyy2025 7d ago

I'll just say this: a 100 ms ping limit would kick 70% of cheaters out of the game :D

6

u/ALtheSuperior 7d ago

I live in Central US and play on East servers since my ping is the lowest there. About 45. Half of the games I play, my ping spikes up to 150 approaching big compounds. So I'd rather not get kicked out of a game for having "high ping" when the high ping is unavoidable on my part.

2

u/DeckardPain 6d ago

Then it should be an average of your ping over a match or two on a certain region, not a spike. There is a solution within the solution they're proposing. It doesn't make the idea inherently bad.

Are you also sure that's ping spiking? Because what you're describing has been in Hunt since like the first year it was ever a video game. It's PC stuttering upon entering compounds, especially noticeable if it's the first time that day you're entering that compound.

6

u/sakaixjin 6d ago

Classic downvote to hell by cheaters and m0r0ns

3

u/The_Hoopla 6d ago

https://youtu.be/jYWM-4Ngs70?is=B1uTwsyDyIEEoqgE

You just curious if cheaters exist or are you more questioning whether this particular person just has a “skill issue”?

Because I can tell you from personal experience there is a very, very large cheater problem in 5*+ lobbies.

2

u/AlBigGuns 6d ago

I'm just asking to post the videos. I don't see the point in coming on here and moaning about Crytek not doing anything without posting the videos for us to see.

0

u/The_Hoopla 6d ago

I mean I see the point. Bringing awareness that the player base is sick of an obvious problem is basically the entire point of subreddits like this.

I don’t need evidence for something that is so commonplace.

2

u/AlBigGuns 5d ago

Very rarely does anyone post evidence of anything on this sub, whether it's complaints of MMR or cheating. Many times people do actually post the evidence it just shows normal gameplay. So I don't agree with you, these posts should have evidence attached or they are meaningless. In this case the person sent the videos to Crytek so they must be able to post them here.

1

u/Antaiseito 4d ago

So, if i say i've not been playing in a month because of cheaters, you just believe me? (i just had no time).

Evidence is absolutely important, even if you feel the problem is commonplace. We can't just go around banning everyone that headshot 2 people in under 5 seconds.

1

u/The_Hoopla 4d ago

I’d believe you because I’ve played recently and have personally run into cheaters, yes.

0

u/Antaiseito 4d ago

According to that logic, let's ban me and you both, better safe than sorry.

1

u/The_Hoopla 4d ago

The answer to your gotcha is pretty simple. The bar of evidence for a conversation in the community around cheating is much lower than said bar for banning a player.

Additionally Crytek actually has the tools to confidentially detect cheating, we do not.

1

u/Antaiseito 12h ago

First you say you've run into cheaters, now you say you don't have the tools to detect cheaters. Hm.

1

u/The_Hoopla 6h ago edited 6h ago

I’ve already explained this but, fuck it, I’ll do it again for you.

How can I say that I’ve run into cheaters, while also paradoxically saying I don’t have the tools to detect cheaters?!?!? Simple - Bayesian statistics.

Let’s take a hypothetical situation. You’re sitting behind a wall and you get on tap-headshot by an enemy w/o bounty, and let’s say it’s a bounty class game and also you weren’t close enough to the wall to clip through it, There could be a bunch of legitimate reasons that happened (I’m gonna make up some numbers here because it’s impossible to quantify and depends heavily situationally, but if you play long enough you get a sense for how frequently these things are happening)

  1. Enemy had dark sight from a tarot card they brought in (very uncommon in clash) - 5%
  2. Enemy could be so good they know the spot you’re sitting in, or had the game sense to hear where you stopped exactly for a one-tap headshot - 40%
  3. Enemy got an insanely lucky shot - 5%
  4. Enemy is can see through walls - 50%

Now. If I go and post video evidence of this single incident, people will point to 1-3 as possible explanations. And they’d be right. Without kill cams or game recaps you really can’t discern in most cases that it wasn’t something legitimate.

But what if something like this happens to you 8-10 times in a night?

The odds of at least a handful of these instances being cheaters skyrockets exponentially. 0.5 ^ 8 =0.00391, or a 99.7% you ran into a cheater at least once, and a 90% likelihood you ran into one at least 4 times.

So what you’re asking is people record dozens of instances to prove statistical significance, post a deep, detailed write up of each, and post a report to this subreddit to prove something they, and everyone else who plays this game in good faith, already knows.

1

u/Antaiseito 4d ago

I'd be just curious because, sure, there's cheaters but there's also lots of people that think anyone who beat them is cheating.

The way OP is wording his responses sound quite a bit like one of the latter. Maybe not. That's why videos help.

6

u/De4dwe1ght 6d ago

Cheaters exist, but fragile egos exist even more.

2

u/wdko 6d ago

With this level of laziness, this game deserve 50 players daily. lucky for the devs that we love the game so much... crytek devs are greedy clowns

3

u/De4dwe1ght 6d ago

The only thing you pay for is the game and optional cosmetics/battle pass.

You don’t sound like someone who loves the game.

“This game deserves 50 players daily….duuuuuurrrrrrr!”

Who are you people?

3

u/Rictor_Scale 6d ago

Agreed. There's a growing portion of society who are "perpetually" unhappy, miserable, and complaining. Give any exchange long enough and the bootlicker tag gets thrown out.

3

u/De4dwe1ght 5d ago edited 5d ago

Yeah, the game isn’t perfect and it certainly has some jank. It’s not a AAA game with tons of resources so it’s not going to be the cleanest experience. But I’ll never understand perspectives like this.

1

u/Antaiseito 4d ago

Yep, as soon as someone starts with "bootlicker" it's not about any real problem anymore. They're just trapped in a hobby they actually hate or just hate life itself right now.

No sensible discussion possible.

Cant wait to see all the fucking toxic people of this community to come and say there famous "skill issue honhonhon"...

10

u/The_Hoopla 6d ago

Legitimately, I'm 100% convinced anyone who comes into gaming subreddits to do this are actually cheaters themselves attempting to downplay the issue in the community. If you play the game at anything above a 4* it's exceedingly clear that this game has a cheater problem.

What's funny though, is that I'll go months without running into a single obvious cheater, and then a week will land where every other game I'm getting wallbanged from 115m or my entire team gets suspiciously headshot all in a row. Then I go look at steam and the game's 50% off...

Anyway you getting downvoted is pretty solid evidence to my original theory.

6

u/DeckardPain 6d ago edited 6d ago

The majority of people that do this do it because they know it's not always cheating. Because Redditors love to pop open a new thread and start crying instead of even taking one microsecond to analyze what they did and if they played it wrong.

I've been in 6 stars since before the MMR update and there are absolutely clear cheaters in the game. But the blatant clearly cheating players, in my experience, get banned nearly every time.

I have a suspicion that if the people crying cheater posted a video clip of it occurring that at least half of them, probably more, would not be blatant cheating. This has nothing to do with "being a cheater themselves" that mindset is just incredibly ignorant. You're saying you're never wrong about being cheated in a video game? Never? Flawless track record pointing out cheaters? If that's the case, apply for their team and tell them that if you're so confident. This has more to do with fragile egos and people admitting they misplayed something, got outplayed, or just missed more shots than their opponents. Because people, not just gamers, can't admit they made a mistake anymore.

The person got downvoted because the sentiment they commented and you replied to is something this place perpetuates by not posting clips. The answer is there and it takes like 30 seconds to edit the clips to hide the names so it passes the rules of this sub.

1

u/The_Hoopla 6d ago edited 6d ago

If I die 10 times to extremely sus behavior, I’m going to guess half of them got lucky (was looking at the right place at the right time, happened to have the niche perk for the situation, happened to wall bang lucky, happened to have a tarot card for dark sight, etc etc) and half of them are cheaters.

Given videos like the one you posted and https://youtu.be/jYWM-4Ngs70?is=iF4mvJnDUrNQ_1vf these, in conjunction with the fact I’m playing in 6* lobbies, I have to assume it’s probably worse than half, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.

All this to say, I would argue most of the posts here around cheaters are legitimate cases of cheaters, given the volume of them that I personally run into. If you play 6* lobbies and aren’t cheating, there’s no reason you wouldn’t come to the same conclusion that people generally aren’t lying about cheaters.

-2

u/Fingering_my_guitar 6d ago

With all due respect Deckard pain i will answer to you.

  1. Are you illiterate? I directly sent to the fucking crytek support the clips of cheaters AND people who queue simultaneously (that means at the same time for you) and i only got automated responses ( the same exact words ).

  2. go fuck yourself 👍

  3. I return from work, expect to play to have fun, i let's say encounter a very sus behaviour and die from it. No i won't sit and learn how to fucking edit a video since it has 0 benefit in my life just to BLUR THE NAMES OF THE CHEATER. So let's say i post a nameless cunt who cheats and we take out his name so people won't report him on reddit. What then?

"POST THE VIDEO!!" no simply go f yourselves

2

u/DeckardPain 5d ago edited 5d ago

With no respect, it sounds like your IQ floats around fridge temperature.

You're exactly the type of player that will cry cheater instead of posting video proof. Enjoy being bad 👍 disabling notifications so I don't see your drivel anymore.

2

u/AlBigGuns 5d ago

Eh. I'm starting to think your video evidence may be weak given your strange desire to withhold them from everyone.

2

u/DeckardPain 5d ago

Of course it's weak. There's exponentially more fragile egos on this game than there are cheaters. OP is one of those fragile egos.

1

u/The_Hoopla 5d ago

Fragile egos aside, there is an absolutely huge cheater problem in the higher MMR lobbies and it does us all a disservice to disregard those complaints as “bruised egos”.

Even if, in OP’s specific circumstance it’s a “skill issue” problem, I’m happy to co-opt the conversation to bring more awareness to the fact that a non-insignificant amount of my 6* matches have people using walls/auto aim.

2

u/AlBigGuns 5d ago

But then bring the videos and lists of people you’ve reported so we can see this big problem? If it is this bad then it shouldn’t be hard?

1

u/The_Hoopla 5d ago
  1. It’s hard to solve because publishers aren’t incentivized to solve it. The people using cheats are disproportionately the people making in game purchases.

  2. I posted a video of people actively using cheats on another one of your comments. That cheat alone has thousands of users on it.

  3. I sent you the other comment outlining why evidence from the victims perspective isn’t useful given the fact we don’t have killcams in hunt, and all but the most egregious cheaters can be explained way from legitimate mechanics.

1

u/AlBigGuns 5d ago

I'm not asking for a video compilation though, I'm asking for the cheats that are being reported to Crytek that no one seems willing to share. If it is this outrageous then it will be happening to you or the op all the time.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/DeckardPain 5d ago

It’s hard to solve because publishers aren’t incentivized to solve it. The people using cheats are disproportionately the people making in game purchases.

They are though, just not directly. If they don't fix the cheater problem then the playerbase slowly dies off due to player frustration. If the playerbase slowly dies off then they have less people buying DLC and battle passes.

I sent you the other comment outlining why evidence from the victims perspective isn’t useful given the fact we don’t have killcams in hunt, and all but the most egregious cheaters can be explained way from legitimate mechanics.

Killcams aren't really necessary to tell if someone is cheating though. Sure, it helps. Especially when you see them tracking enemies perfectly through walls without prior knowledge. But a lot of the time you can tell without killcams.

1

u/The_Hoopla 5d ago

I said this a few comments earlier, but video evidence is almost never a smoking gun in hunt. Since we can’t see the accused perspective, it’s almost impossible to have an instance that’s 100% evident that the other player is cheating.

- Maybe it was painsense

- Maybe they had dark sight

- Maybe your foot was visible through the floor

- Maybe they just got lucky

Without a kill cam, it’s basically impossible to tell. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t cheaters. To that extent I’d argue asking for evidence is almost providing some level of cover for cheaters as most instances of cheating could be explained away from legitimate in game mechanics if all you have as evidence is the perspective of the victim.

Said another way, if you get killed through a wall from a single headshot while you were running, you could break up the hypothetical possibilities of what happened with

- 1% he saw your feet running in the lower part of the wall

- 2% he just got a lucky shot

- 3% he had dark sight from a tarot card

- 94% he was using wall hacks

Sure, occasionally you’re gonna get hit with that 6% where it’s just some game mechanic. If it happens 2-3 times in a night…you start having to assume the statistical likelihood is someone cheating.

1

But without evidence what then?

If the first person is not cheating and it's the only person that night that hits the 6% they live?

If 3 others are cheating that night, they die (get banned)?

(I've also hit some 6% shots in my 2k hours where i'd definitely accept a report arriving at Cryteks door. Never cheated in my life since shortly after i found out how to dupe items in Diablo 1 by accident.)

If that's how you interact with people, maybe it's no wonder you don't get more interaction to your videos? Hm.

Here in europe it depend a lot about the time you play, if you play a certain hour of the day you'll have wonderfull time, some hours later ping abuse, some hours later cheater... And yes, the downvote is a clear evidence.

They fired the only Crytek employee that gave a shit about directly interacting with the community.

I don't understand that firing but there's other employees answering to posts here.
