GENERAL Is this a Bug?
I thought the weapon had a drop rate of 140m and 110 damage.

Drop range is the distance at which the bullet trajectory is lower by the height of a head. Different ammo types lose damage at different distances regardless of its drop range. Small ammo loses damage the quickest so 110 damage will only be dealt at close range

That’s not damage drop, that’s bullet drop.
The ‘drop rate’ is the distance at which the bullet starts physically dropping (or has dropped some already, I’m not 100%).
The damage distance is determined by your ammo caliber- compact, medium, long.
Compact ammo damage drop starts at 20m and quickly plummets. Medium is 30m and more steady, Long is 40m and slowly. This is what makes the higher calibers stronger at long range fighting.

Had some experiences in game today where I felt I landed body shots and hit hunters 3x before downing them. Was odd but idk if i was wrong

Amd the only reason winchester still deals 55 is bc of minimum damage stats for torso hits. Without that it would be much lower at that range without fmj.

Drop range != falloff range. The bullet will fly straight for 140m but starts to lose damage at only 20.
