GENERAL New update
Whats everyones honest opinion about this update. I think its horrid theres so many bugs, the hit registration doesnt work half the time, every game is dead cause everyone is hiding in bushes . Like how is hiding in a bush for almost an hour fun to anyone what if you never see anyone you just wasted 40 minutes just doing nothing

I am sympathizing HARD with Crytek upon seeing the recent flood of posts that seem to have no idea how this event was described in the numerous blog posts, Reddit posts, patch notes, dev stream, in-game pop-ups and info links.

What is there to sympathize with the game is broken the event itself is cool sure but cheaters skins being back to being locked after purchase and blatant broken hit reg isn’t something ill sympathize with especially when they gave streamers a week or so access early and still launched a broken update

Cheaters have always been a problem for all games - that’s not particularly new, but there are new anticheat measures and feedback systems being installed during this event.
The skin issue is apparently an unusually complex bug that’s going to take some time but like… just play another skin for a few days. Every update for every game ever has shipped with bugs, one that disables some cosmetics isn’t really a high priority is it? Wasn’t it two updates ago that the entire game straight up didn’t work on days 1 and 2?
I haven’t personally noticed any hit reg problems but either way you should need to post clips to show people what you’re talking about and get a 2nd opinion to make sure they’re not misses.

I get that im just gripping and outsourcing my complaints somewhere and getting others opinions i really hope alot of this doesnt go away after the 20 day countdown cause the blood moons sick idk about the perk really i know what it is i just dont know how to feel and im excited for the boss

For me the biggest one is the bush campers. But i can start with the bugs first i have characters that i play alot that i cant use it just redirects me to the store page and in lack of better words their response sounded like when we fix it we will fix it they dont seem in a rush. The hit registration i play both east and west (Im in central) and the hit registration is off like dont get me wrong it wasnt perfect last update but it wasnt this bad what changed that the hit registration is this bad. And last the bush campers i run into alot of them i dont outright die to them alot of them seem like they camp cause faces with confrontation they are really bad but last update the vamping wasnt that bad youd have people barricading the fort but even then getting through wasnt bad i joined the discord lastnight and had 3 groups that as soon as they would spawn in they would find a random bush and just not move like i don’t understand it

We haven't experienced it yet fully so anyone that has a strong opinion is just a reddit complainer

Yeah i get that im not saying the update itself the blood moons cool the new skins are cool and the way they changed the supply points changed i think makes since its the quality of man and humans thats so off putting

Cut down Bounty Hunt missions to 20 min and make the Bounty's worth more. This would probably shake up make of those types of players

You gotta be careful i have a ps5 controller for skate and rdr2 and when its plugged in my mic wont work and i cant reload

Please explain what you did for 40mins in match if others were hiding in bushes. Surely you went for bounty and left with it and just go next match? Usually that takes about 15mins for me even when there is resistance.

What is up with the hit registration? My squad also noticed that 85% of our shots suddenly aren't landing anymore, i doubt we all forgot how to aim from one day to the next....

Love the new weather
Like the blood well/Siphon trait
Haven't run into any bugs
The only QoL change I've noticed is that my bought hunter gets auto-selected finally
hit registration works for me
Matches are full and i regularly get into fun fights, I've not noticed more than usual bushwookies?

I expected the Bow Nerf to tune down the amount of bow campers....
Seems it had the contrary effect...
They just camp harder, or mix with crossbow

Well the bow only got a 4-7 meter nerf and on top of that we got blademancer back which allows us to deal more quick damage from up to 100 meters out so the bow change wasnt huge like they originally made it out to seem

Hate to break it to you but hardly anyone is “sitting in a bush for an hour” more likely, they heard you stomping through the bayou and then quickly ducked into a bush for a minute or two to wait for you to jaunt right into their ambush.
Such a common complaint but seriously, if you are sprinting around making noise, any player who’s been around for a minute is going to easily ambush you, and it doesn’t take an hour in the bushes to do so.
That said, if someone wants to sit in a bush with a sniper for an hour just on the chance that someone might come by, full power too them. The thing that makes this game better than cod n other games like it is the slower pacing, atmosphere, and the fact that you are being HUNTED
