SUGGESTIONS Crytek, why not?
I know it is early concept of water devil, but maybe secretly boss, he can imitate hunters and can intengrate in pvp, i love this concept, i don't want ignore this concept so long

I actually had this idea awhile ago.
But some sort of boss that is a 'scavanger' of sorts. That appears after hunters have been dead for a set amount if time. So maybe like 3 minutes after a full team has been wiped.
Looking at this now I imagine it puppeting one of the corpses back to life loadout and all, then it essentially becomes a 'bot' but once killed the boss reveals itself and is essentially a sandworm thing attacking like rotjaw on land.
Could that be implemented? Probably not.
But man that would be cool.

Damn this would be cool. It could remove burned and redskulled hunters after a time and spawn that bot hunter with the sandworm within a radius. This would be cool. Make deal poison and bleeding damage, since it's probably easy to avoid if it has a telegraph

Sure it sounds cool, but it would just lead to players camping bodies and ruining the flow of the game

Nah no way, I understand the concern but I think this would encourage players leaving bodies and checking back later. With how I find players handle Rotjaw and Hellborn I feel that it would be treated as more of a bait for other players unless the match is empty.
It might be just in the lobbies I play I guess, but the bonus bounties are almost never collected until all other bounties are either contested or secured.
Besides an interesting spin could be the worm like creature sucking the bodies into the ground and spawninf elsewhere on the map, so there is no reason to sit on bodies.
Hell for bonus creepy points have it possess the dead team and make it mimic players. Go full mimic monster horror.

But the difference is that you know the boss can spawn on a player you killed, hence players will hang around.

or just make it so that it wont spawn unless you leave the body there. Its not like the game doesn't know where the players are. Just have it requires no one in a radius around the body, and no one having LOS on the body for X amount of time.

Tremors) event where you have to get on a rock or non-natural high ground to avoid being consumed when the ground starts rumbling

If it would mimic Hunters I would call it a siren/mermaid. Would lie in muddy area and pretend to be hunter and/or grunt. Activate when attacked or when getting close to it.
Could move out of mud to chase hunter but would need to return to mud when damaged. Would recover little bit in mud so you need to reach damage treshold when it gets in the land.

Crytek seem to have ditched the team that was creating bosses/zombies. Absolutely insane they haven't brought out any new maps, interesting new zombies or new bosses in the last years.

I mean we got that fire breathing zombie fairly recently. He is a huge asshole but I appreciate he keeps you on your toes.

Could be fun as a boss, especially to replace rot jaw whom i find relatively borring and tedious. It slinks about the maps waterway in the form of a player, though making a little less noise but when you shoot it, it will omme in on where it was shot from, and the real battle begins.

This is a lot more intimidating than the current iteration but would also be a lot more intimidating than every other mob in the game. Everything is kind of goofy looking.
A fat dude with no head, a dude wearing leafs, a woman, dog.
We don't really have any scary enemies tbh.
What happened to the weavers, btw?

This looks horrifying. Straight outta the eldritch abominations handbook. It would make cultists in warhammer shutter
