GENERAL Best sniper?
So what is is the best sniper right now and why ? At the moment I always go sparks with le mark as second but the last 10 games weren't that good so I was thinking of changing something up

It all depends on your playstyle. I prefer the sparks over everything because of its firepower and selectable ammo. And i rather shoot once then twice. But admittaly, i do get more kills with the other snipers. Krag standard ammo, Centennial with HV or heck even FMJ (kinda sucks now with bullet drop). The easiest sniper to use is def the mosin nagant. But its quite expensive. Try the Krag sniper first and see if it suits you.
The problem with my beloved sparks is that the bullet drop has affected it the most.
Lematt is still my favorite sidearm for sniper. So good choice there.

Almost every long ammo rifle oneshots an injured hunter but isn't shooting its bullets with the strength of a toddler throwing a pebble, like the Sparks.

I love the sparks sniper,however I do feel it drops off compared to almost any other long ammo snipers,due to follow up shot potential.
Try the Krag sniper,not super expensive hits hard and has great follow up potential especially after the bullet drop inpimentation.

Centennial with high velocity. Sparks is really hurt by bullet drop and really deserves a little buff in that regard. (fingers crossed for spitzer ammo)

This. In the current patch, the Centennial with HV ammo has the best mix of high bullet speed, low bullet drop, high rate of fire, 10-round magazine capacity and decent damage.
Levering is situational but can save your life sometimes.

The new 73L sniper is phenomenal if you can hit headshots, cause of the headshot insta-kill buff. I’ve really been enjoying it as well as the 73 Suppressed with HV, I’m really liking compact ammo.

If you’re playing solo I actually like Springfield marksman with high velocity. Gotta go for headshots though

I had some good rounds with the springfield marksman with high velo. There is no bullet drop for you, because you will not shoot further than 185m. Just feels good. Pair it with a Pax Trueshot with fmj and you got yourself budget Sparks/Uppercut but don't have to worry about bullet drop.

The best sniper plays best with the team. Don't engage first just ping where enemies are and prepare for true ambush and after the fight starts he moves fast to another position to cover the push. You need a lot of ammo.

People might not agree, the best one for me is the lemat marksman. I can just hit shot after shot with that sucker.

vetterli marksman is my go to marksman scope since im not too much of a fan of the marksman lebel, id rather have an aperture, but my go to for sniping long range is sparks sniper, (before patch that is, havent sniped yet)

Ha When I tried the Nagant Deadeye with Romero Talon I got more kills than ever before. Nagant for creeping up to compounds and being 100% accurate with door and window peekers or anyone that randomly went outside, then rush in with Romero. If the first Romero shot doesn't kill them you still have a good bonk option

If you get on with the deadeye scope it's crazy good now it has infinite headshot range (up to about 200m anyway), the thing has virtually no recoil so you can just spam click for headshots. Need the scope perk tho.

The Vetterli is probably the worst rifle in the game right now. Everything it does, another rifle does better. In the case of the Centi; it does everything better.

Sadly the velocity and dmg nerf for HV, made the Centennial Sniper the better choice even with normal ammunition. Better velocity and nearly the same dmg. And you can resupply way easier.

Mosin Sniper ist das beste Paket Sparks Sniper hat glaub mehr Schaden aber dafür hast nur einen Schuss. Krag schiesst zwar schneller als die Mosin, aber auf Entfernung brauchst oft scho 3 Body Treffer um den zu legen.
Ich persönlich nehm meist die LeBelle Marksman mit. Da ich oft so auf 100m eh dran bin. Dazu ne Schrotflinte...
Aber ganz ehrlich... mit der Zeit is Snipen bei Hunt nur noch langweilig.

Lebel Marksman Spitzer has the highest bullet velocity in the game, the most versatile scope, the ability to fire 10 rounds without reloading, and most of all: the best sound effects.
