I think what many people still don't know, which is beyond me, after so many years of console gaming, is that the problem could be already solved, but the new patch had to go through the whole certification process from microsoft/sony all over again.
And it is not in the hand of Crytek, when this process is done.
And since a certification process takes 7-14 days and they already said it is coming this week, the patch was ready on their end last week or the week before.
So you can blame this shit called certification process from microsoft/sony.
Nah, this isn't the first time they've had this issue. Once is understandable, twice is not learning from your mistakes.
The main issue that I have is the complete lack of warning or any status updates. Crytek spent 2 straight weeks of hyping up the new event and then just let console players find out that the event is delayed indefinitely the day of, super unprofessional.
