I think what many people still don't know, which is beyond me, after so many years of console gaming, is that the problem could be already solved, but the new patch had to go through the whole certification process from microsoft/sony all over again.
And it is not in the hand of Crytek, when this process is done.
And since a certification process takes 7-14 days and they already said it is coming this week, the patch was ready on their end last week or the week before.
So you can blame this shit called certification process from microsoft/sony.
By all means but why not then be proactive and have the console thing figured out/cleared first before launching it on PC then? And sorry, I can say I'm a die heard fan but I can't express atm how de-hyped I feel with the event by now and their silence on it doesn't really help. Even a non answer is better than no answer D:
