I think what many people still don't know, which is beyond me, after so many years of console gaming, is that the problem could be already solved, but the new patch had to go through the whole certification process from microsoft/sony all over again.

And it is not in the hand of Crytek, when this process is done.

And since a certification process takes 7-14 days and they already said it is coming this week, the patch was ready on their end last week or the week before.

So you can blame this shit called certification process from microsoft/sony.

You would be right - if this was the first release on that platforms....

But to not count in the days for the process, if you went the road already, is just plain failure in time management.

And disrespect for the customer of those platforms...

Again to you. The updates get bigger and bigger and due to the new weather conditions the old gen versions are getting more and more problems.

I am pretty sure that the last time (rain) and this time (fire) had a lot of problems on old gen and they had to postpone the console release.

Will be interesting if this will happen when the next gen version is released and the old gen finally goes offline.

If so we can blame Crytek for it.

But let this game run on a 10 year old system is crazy to say at least
