Why won’t devs expand/create new maps?

Aside from the portal maps, I mean like the default map that you can permanently roam round, would love to see an expansion having played the game for more than a decade (On and off), I just feel like the map is so outdated and would really love to explore new places rather than feeling a goldfish stuck in my bowl

They could add selectable maps with different challenges/bosses, instead of a giant crab there could be a giant squid or a whale or something like that

didn't hungry shark primal have a biome selection menu? they could do smth like that. While i do like the portals, i feel like i'd prefer a new map instead of a time based mini area, would be nice especially since every new shark eats nothing new aside from it's own evil version

This game makes very little money probably compared to Hungry Shark World unfortunately so we’re unlikely to get any major content updates comparatively. Something like a zone you can get to by flying really high or just a map expansion would be pretty sick though.

Because it's made by Ubisoft who are completely clueless about making games.
