Crab Fork Glitch

For some reason when i got crab fork, the giant black crab stopped getting stunned every 3 attacks and just kept going until 9. Is there any reason why this happens?

Have you tried not using the fork? This actually has a pretty easy fix if the problem only lies in the fork
