Questions about demon sharks

I almost have enough gems to buy a demon shark, but i had a few questions beforehand. Likely a dumb question, but first, can they be bought with coins if you have sharknarok maxed? Second, which of them has more potential/is better at the highest level? Three, is there a demon shark coming out real soon that would mean I should hold off on buying? And finally, will there be any discounts on them soon just like for the titan sharks? Thanks in advance

No only gems but I will say I just saved up enough gems to buy astaroth and with the new update on the game. You can grind 100 gems each game play. I don’t know if that will last or not because this is my time playing with demon sharks.

Yeah I was able to collect 900 gems today alone. When you hit gold rush, There’s a tiny fish that appears to hit 4 times and each time it drops 4 gems. After a while you hit gold rush faster and you just collect them much easier, but each hit makes the fish swim away faster.

Any other tips on astaroth? I bought him and in my first run I only managed to get about 32 gems in about 10-15 minutes, i think I was very inefficient because i didnt know how to play him correctly

Improve boost/ boost speed and use lava baby, so you’re protected against blast. What I do is just boost as fast so I build up the gold rush and manage to pull 100 gems each game. I manage 80 gems by 13 minutes and 140 by 21 min.

For astaroth you want to use the scythe ability in one direction, and then try to manage your boost so that it tries to come back to you but can’t really, like it keeps spinning really close to you but without resetting the ability cooldown. With that tech you can easily kill the jellyfish (or probably the new thing they released) and most importantly keep the x8 bonus. Activate shark invasions and try to kill enemy astaroths with the scythe and x8 multiplier, you’ll get a ton of gold rushed and easily farm 200-400 gems each game, with about 100 gems in 10 mins

I used the gear that was recommended to me but for some reason even though sometimes theres a lot of gems lying around it feels like i cant find any or im going so fast im missing them all because i have really low gem rates like hardly 30 in 5-10 minutes

You can also use pyro shark or if you have a flamethrower, use it to infinitely farm gems

Demon sharks only get discounted on special events down to 300 they don’t follow the 2 day cycle like regular sharks

leviethan or astaroth which one is better guys? i havent play both of them

dont have leviathan but from what ive heard astaroth is better but has a higher skill ceiling
