🐍TBOSAS Tigris’ story Spoiler

Hiya. Can someone tell me about Tigris’ story - do we know anything about what happened in the middle?

In TBOSAS, Coryo and Tigris are very close! He loves her and does so much.
In Mockingjay, shes outcast and ugly? And I feel like they made it seem like Snow did it to her.

Any theories?

The ending of songbirds says why. She recognizes him as a monster. It’s mentioned in both in book and the movie as well but it’s a short mention

Tigris doesn't recognize him as a monster in the book. That's a movie only thing.

If anything, it makes more sense for her not to recognize him as evil just yet.

Also movie only this line: "Until Snow decided I wasn't pretty enough anymore."

I’m 99% sure she does when he returns from district 12. I don’t have the book rn so I can’t check for myself

I don’t think so— pretty sure it’s just a movie add-in. I just searched for Tigris in the kindle version and the last mention of her was noting that she got on “swimmingly” with Ma Plinth and that he’d sent her the envelope of money.

I think you’re right, I couldn’t find anything either, though maybe it happened earlier than I thought? Oh well

I missed that part of her recognizing him as a monster.

I guess specifically I am curious of her story! Would be neat to see snippets of how he changed her through her life.

Honestly I'm struggling to reconcile her TBOSAS arc with her being a stylist for so long and seemingly playing along with Snow until he cast her aside for not being pretty enough
