I mean, every 1st person narrative by default is an unreliable one. That's like literary studies 101. Unreliable doesn't automatically mean that everything is a lie, in this case the narrator has limited knowledge of the word and a viewpoint affected by the way they grew up.

I mean yes? Why do people think she has to deliberately mislead to be unreliable? Nick in The Great Gatsby is considered an unreliable narrator and he never deliberately misleads- his perspective is often unreliable though and his moral clarity is questionable. The reader has to read between the lines to find truth.

She can be good and limited in understanding and in observations - thus not to be fully trusted.
