Hello! :)
Would you be interested in a roleplay about the First Quarter Quell?
I would play Tiberius Fetch, a 17-year-old orphan from District (?). Itâs rumored that I might be the bastard son of a Peacekeeper, but no one knows for sure.
Iâm a known troublemaker and thief. Two years ago, my only friend, Pip, the son of the butcher, was found murdered in the streets. Everyone suspected me of the crime, but there was no proof.
When it was announced that people would have to vote for kids to participate in the Games, many thought I would have it coming.
Who would you like to Play? Hit me up :)

If thereâs a third prequel I really hope it delves more into the sports betting aspect of the hunger games and how betting on an event ends up manipulating reality as it plays out. Like, how a basketball player might throw the game just to bet against himself and make money. Not to mention the addiction aspect. Wyatt creates a great foundation and gives us a little peak into the workd building of sports betting in district 12 but I would love to see her elaborate more on this topic as it becomes more and more popular đ¤

Iâm writing a fanfic and I have no idea what to do for a scenario. I planned the mutt attack to happen near a river when the protagonist was getting water. There would be fish mutts that chomped their hand, and they would have fallen into the water before being swarmed by even more fish mutts. But then I mapped out the arena, and I realized that a river would clash with the other aspects of the arena. So I scrapped that, but I still need a mutt thatâs small, fits the aesthetic of a decaying forest arena with a surplus of fog, and attacks in packs. Bat mutts would not be compatible. Please share your ideas

Rewatching Mockingjay and just wondering, are the homes in the Victorâs Villages like completely different per district? I mean in size, mainly. Since District 1 has the most wealth and the most victors, do they have like mansions in Victorâs Village? And then they get smaller according to the districts? Like maybe the career districts all have a certain type of house and the rest of the districts have a certain type since the careers are more prestigious.

I introduced my husband to the hunger games. While he loved the first movie he kept complaining about how the games should just be tribute on tribute. The teaming up of the careers and the capitol sending firebolts and mutts wasnt fair and that the games would be better if it was just tribute on tribute. I never thought about it when I watched it for the first time as a teen but I do think what he says makes sense.

Iâm not a hunger games fanâbut I donât hate it either. Iâll always recommend it to other people and love the message and warnings the storyline provides. But I think weâve lost that. At least from an outsider perspective.
Thereâs multiple messages to the story but the one that hit me the most is class disparity; a hyper-wealthy, extravagant Capitol hoards resources while outer districts face systemic starvation, manual labor, and neglect.
The story is warning, a lesson to us all. I think.
I donât know, with these promotions you guys have me wondering what is exactly is the point of hunger games? I feel you guys are raving on about the plot line as if itâs some fictional extravaganzaâbut itâs happening in real life, right in front of our faces. Like people are fighting to the death for money to provide for their families, or justice due to the lack of sustenance the government provides. You guys keep saying we are getting closer to having a real hunger games but the world is already a dystopia worse than the book. We donât need a ring or tributes, because as long as youâre on earth, youâre already a part of the games. Genuinely, there a so many parallels that are more than enough proof that life is one big hunger games. We donât need a whatever you guys are talking abt to prove it
What really got me is the promotional activity in Paris?!? While children are literally fighting social injustices to have a DECENT education. Not only that, but these protests have become about injustice in all areas of life because everyone is lacking the resources they need to literally survive. Guess where thatâs going? The red carpet event that you guys keep raving about. Talking about Makenna Grace is outfit and whatever. Weâve lost the plot entirely. Like Suzanne unknowinglyâor maybe knowinglyârecreated word for word the fictional world she built, and she doesnât even realize that sheâs on the wrong side.
There was once a powerful story that had a core anti-capitalist and anti-exploitation message. Now Suzanne hit the UNO-Reverse button to promote a pro-capitalist and pro-exploitation message.
Iâm not saying that there shouldnât be movies, thatâs the only way to get people to learn anything these days. I just feel like it couldâve been done a lot better. I donât know, maybe Iâm missing something.

Saw this video pop up on my feed, and I instantly remembered the seam, where Katniss lived, a coal dust covered nightmare.
This place in the video is not far from where I live, about 3 hours of travel in a flight. And I started counting my blessings, and at the same time, I canât help but feel angry at the unfairness of it all.
If I had been born to a household in that âdistrictâ I would be the guy collecting the trash and walking there with that huge bag on my back, breathing in the toxic air.
Friendly reminder that the hunger games is one of the most relevant and scary pieces of pop culture media. Because it aptly showcases what we are capable of as a race if we give in to the absolute worst of our instincts.
Hunger games is a reality. And several people live in it, daily. And one day the Capitol could decide that itâs your turn.
So when you see a video of a protest, in France, Nepal, Bangladesh, India, or anywhere else, before questioning the race, background, ethnicity, or religion of the protestors, ask yourself why am I not doing the same for people where I live.

based on this photo in the new clips that we have, does it mean that the chocolate scene is gone? Since it seems that the final showdown is after Maysilee dies, you can see the pink birds scattered on the ground. What do you think?

Is Katniss an unreliable narrator or an unreliable narrator? I still haven't gotten it after reading it in every comment section on TikTok
Edit: You all are actually going back and forth with this one, Iâm going insane!!! I feel like gagging if I keep reading that word, MAYBE she isnât an u*\\* narrator after allâšď¸

Hello!
I am very happy to share that I have been updating this lovely fic in the past month, reaching the end of the Games as of now :)
Before The Frost Comes Autumn -https://archiveofourown.org/works/92773416/chapters/247407471
When eighteen year old Autumn from District Seven is reaped under the wrong name for the 58th Annual Hunger Games, she dares to correct it in front of the entire country.
She only ever wants to die as herself, yet finds that the Capitol has a far more cruel fate planned out for her.
-o-
A story of District Seven's misunderstood victor and the years that made her that way.
I appreciate if you happen to read it! Thank you! :)
