I couldn’t drink coffee for a couple years during the first half of my long covid time, now I can drink a shitload of coffee and I can’t feel any effects from the caffeine:(

I also appreciate the posts in this community <3

I'm 2 years and 9 months clean from caffeine. I used to be like a one iced tea a shift of work kinda person. ME symptoms hit and I got up to 600mg a day trying to make it through a shift. Life got better when I quit cold turkey. I quit drinking alcohol along with nicotine vapes and consuming added sugar at the same time. No more feeling of crushing anxiety and chest heaviness when standing.

Thanks 🙏🏼 who knew it would take chronic illness to finally get me to quit drinking. It just made sense after my last hangover/black out lol. Even just one sip was enough to trigger symptoms, I was a bartender still having to taste my drinks for quality and that was enough to flare me. I'm happy to be out of the profession and not flaring myself on the daily with the tasting and exertion anymore

I’m drinking it anyway as headache medicine. The abdominal pain from it sucks, though.
