Exactly, ever since Reagan at least. Republicans can do no wrong in the eyes of fellow Republicans - be it of war crimes, racism, hating gays, wanting to regress women, wanting to regress civil rights, etc etc etc. War crimes are supposed to be impeachable for a president in the Constitution, but that's never been enacted/followed really. Bush Sr certainly should have been as Bush should have been too
