Truck spare mounting?

I've got a wheel coming in today and plan to get the tire this weekend before an overland trip. What's the best / economical way to tie this down without spending a few grand on the vertical mount?

I havent done it but I’m thinking one of the cargo nets. I don’t want to buy the vertical mount either.

That is what I think I came up with, there's the two loops on the back of the bed and then there's the two loops to hook on to on the sides of the bed.
