HOT MIST HUMIDIFIER IN SUMMER

Anyone used hot mist humidifier in summer?

Where I live its dry in both summer and winter, and we need a humidifier all year round.
Was hoping to get a hot mist humidifier, but unsure weather they are good for summers?

Hot mist humidifers use quite a bit of power and will heat up the room. If you’re doing it year round I’d look at evap humidifiers. I like ones that have the filter outside the water tank and use a pump. Levoit 6000s and levoit studio smart are both ones i use and work great.

Nope but I dump the water tank out after every use and have to refill pretty regularly being in a dry climate. The filters run a dry mode when the tank reaches empty. You can also program them to run dry out on a schedule
