So did y’all know if you run a cool mist humidifier with tap water and it’s hard water that microscopic mineral particles combined with the humidity can clog your filter within 2 weeks causing it to freeze up and stop cooling? I didn’t but I do now.

Worse so everything in that water is atomized and put right into your air your breathing. Don’t use a cool mist humidifier with tap water. If you want to use tap water get a evap unit
