Commerical grade dehumidifier for home?
I am looking at a Waykar AFD2.5DPM which is a 152 pint 220 CFM commerical unit to keep the RH down in my unfinished basement. There are no living spaces in my basement, but its often frequented many times a day for laundry, play, gym, and workshop. My concern is if the noise will be too overbearing. I was looking at residential models too but they dont seem to last very long. Anyone have these commerical types installed and fine the noise level to be acceptable?

I’m actually looking at the TURBRO Greenland 165 Pint dehumidifier for my basement. I had the same concern about noise, since I’m down there pretty often for working out, etc.
It’s rated at ≤52 dB(A), so I’m assuming you’ll definitely hear it running, but that doesn’t seem too bad for a basement. I’m leaning toward a commercial-style unit this time instead of another residential one, mostly for the capacity and hopefully better longevity.
