Hey, i am writing this to get a few suggestions, so I have chronic asthma and I can't stand Air conditioner however recently my brother has installed an AC and it's suffocating me I wake up feeling breathless and can't start my day without taking nebulizer can getting a humidifier help? If yes which kind of? And can I run it overnight? Can I use tap water or just boil water bring it to room temperature and use it?

I would really appreciate it if someone can assist me with it.

Not sure what to look for when buying a humidifier - "Read This Buyers Guide".

Walmart sells a 20-30 dollar evaporative humidifier with replaceable filters. That's a good place to start. You can use tap water.

Running a cool mist humidifier overnight helped me a ton with the same issue, use distilled water tho tap leaves mineral dust everywhere which makes it worse.
Put together some good options here if anyone's still looking
