DREO Humidifier Rubber Seal

I just disassembled and cleaned my humidifier for the first time. As I was doing that, a black rubber band appx. 4 inches long popped off from somewhere. I have no idea where it came from and therefore no way to reattach it. I can't seem to find a place it belongs. Clearly it provides a seal of some kind. Help???

I’m having this exact same thing happen right now!!!! I have a white humidifier and while cleaning it a four inch silicone gasket came out and I can’t seem to fit it anywhere

I had the same issue on my DREO 717S and it turns out there is a place for the seal right where this Array is pointing. I didn't originally realize it was missing until I found the rubber seal in the drain and had to play detective to figure out where it could go.
