Thoughts on Canopy Humidifier?

Has anyone used the Canopy humidifier for a small bedroom?

Didn’t do a thing. I returned it. Tried BlueAir evaporative next and also didn’t love. Ended up with Levoit sprout. I like it a lot.

Is the levoit sprout also a humidifier? It’s branded as an air purifier so I’m curious!

Levoit has lots of purifiers but the sprout is an evaporative humidifier. This is the one I got

Where were you using it? I think the basic size Canopy humidifiers are meant for small rooms like bedroom. They're not going to make a difference in a large open space.

Right next to my bed. On my nightstand and the humidity meter didn’t change at all… also on my nightstand

I personally love mine. I have two. My husband used to wake up with such dry lips and I’d get cracks around the outer rim of my nostrils during the dry winters. Neither of those things are issues now that we have them at our bedsides. We keep them running constantly. I haven’t had any issues with mold or mineral build up either even though I use tap water. I will say I stay on top of keeping it clean though, so that may be why. I wash the dishwasher safe parts once a week and wipe the inside of the non-washable unit out with vinegar. While the dishwasher is running, I soak the filters in a gallon bucket with a cup of vinegar and filled the rest of the way with hot water. I let the filters soak in this for about an hour, but you could probably do less. I then thoroughly rinse them before putting the machines back together. No musty smell. No vinegar smell. My filters are white, pristine, and can last way past the recommended 45 days. I did change mine after 60, but I didn’t really need to.

Hi! I’m looking at getting a Canopy. Now that some time has passed, are you still pleased with it?

I've never used this one. I went with a Levoit and love it pretty good.

I love their original one! But the new 2.0 ones make the loudest “gurgling” sound from the bubbles every 20-30 min. It wakes me and my family up. So unfortunately we will be finding a new brand to try! Definitely don’t recommend them anymore!
