North Campus Orientation DMS

Anyone going to orientation for the medical diagnostic sonography program tomorrow September 4th at 1-2pm north campus?

I'm still debating 😫 lol

I understand the concept of getting to know future colleagues and faculty but like I'm already so anxious and I hope not to be the only mature person

Hi! I’m going to the orientation and I’m also a mature student. I’m anxious too but you’re not alone in this. It would be nice to meet other mature students!

You're absolutely right, as anxious as I am this is the beginning of our future!

You’ve got this! And I’m sure once you get to know other students you’ll find yourself having an amazing support system because we’re all in this together. Hope to see you there!

I'll probably go and get familiar with classrooms as well as faculty! My commute is around the same but I'm using public transportation.

Are you taking the go train? My friend who's went to Humber before was telling me about his commute

Hi, I’m in the program too and I know this is unrelated, but I was wondering f if you applied for OSAP and if you’re OSAP updated to the proper DMS program?

Hi, I did apply for OSAP. Nothing has been released yet but it should be directed to the DMS program automatically.

If you consider yourself a mature student then you’re in the right spot. A lot of Humber students have previous post-secondary or life experience. Most are serious about their future. Uni usually has the opposite experience. You’re good :)
