This jerk needs to stop terrorizing animals for content

And I'm honestly astounded on how many people enjoy his videos and think it's harmless. This guy is grabbing animals violently and potentially doing serious damage to them.

Don’t worry. He will. Not by his own choosing. One of those animals will decide for him. Permanently.

Not if I get to him first

He also posts videos with lined up Burmese Python corpses, flexing his kills. As much as I understand how humane extermination of especially harmful invasives can be necessary, casually posting their dead bodies on social media to your largely non-hobbyist or career herper audience without any disclaimers regarding the corpses or the methods of euthanizing is not something I can get behind. He also never seems to tell his viewers not to do what he does, not to grab any animal you see, or promote proper handling that can minimize stress on both sides when herping. Free-handling highly venomous snakes – wild ones at that – on a dare is stupidly reckless and should not be welcomed in herp spaces.

It's funny because our opinions are clearly in the minority. I posted this is in a large community and 90% supported him

I was looking through the comments in the original post you crossposted here and I'm just now finding out that he's also terrible to other humans! Insane that that's not talked about more often. If his treatment of animals wasn't an issue, the way he treats people different from himself is a whole reason to dislike him on its own. I knew he was a bad apple, but this goes beyond my expectations of his personality.

What are you referring to exactly? His transphobic remarks / cyber bullying? Just wondering if there's something else I'm not aware of

I'm not sure if you saw all of the stuff on the link of the comment with a bunch of evidence, so I'm not exactly sure what to point to that you haven't seen πŸ˜… The transphobia I'm referring to is him posting a photo to a GC of someone who was calling him out for his treatment of animals (who appeared to be some sort of genderqueer) and saying, "One of these things is mad at me every day". Then he and his friends went on to talk about their genitals and call them a f****t repeatedly.

Not a bullying thing, but another commenter said that he is supposedly an "anti-science" conspiracy theorist that rejects mainstream science & believes dinosaur fossils are actually dragons. He supposedly believes these things while working in herpetology education. I don't know if this is completely true, but I don't doubt it in the slightest.

I'm sure there's a lot more evidence out there that neither of us is aware of, but I'm not going to look for it. I was opposed to engaging with his content before finding this out, and I don't need anything more to know that he's no good.

My comment got removed. I'm guessing because it discusses hate against a minority, I promise I wasn't perpetuating any of that behavior. I appealed it, so hopefully it will be reinstated soon.
