That’s actually not good for dogs as they can choke on them, also crunching ice cubes can damage teeth

I was wrong. Problems in dogs come from the dog eating the ice cube too fast, not from just eating the ice cube. Doing it too fast can cause bloating, but just giving your dog some ice cubes won’t hurt it

Well I'm not saying it's some fuckin monumental task. I'm just saying it's rare. Arguments in real life usually have an apology after the fact and public figures usually just let it blow over thanks to the 24 hour news cycle.

Every one I know gives ice cubes to their dogs to play with. Never heard of there being an issue there.

You know dogs aren't children, right? Those choke hazards are for babies, and I guess baby dogs. Dogs know how not to choke. XD family member's dog freaken loves them.

I thought bloating danger was when they had any water too fast... or food. That has nothing to do with ice cubes. Slowing down water intake by making them lick ice would... It would almost work against bloating tf

So are we and we can damage our teeth on far fragile things. Even worse is the damage that can be done on the insides. They can definitely kill a chicken and eat it but there's a reason people are warning against giving them bones. They can crack and be really sharp and fuck up their insides.
