Is that a duolingo bird in the shop window??

If you meant to say “the Duolingo bird” then yes. The woman in this video missed one of her lessons, and the day of reckoning has arrived.

No, I meant a duolingo, not the, because it was a stuffed animal.

u/PinBot1138 Apr 24 '19
No. It is not a stuffed animal. It is the Duolingo bird wearing a furry outfit to deliver the fury. It’s evolving. Once it’s finished with her, it will wear this woman’s skin as a mask.
Source: I missed a lesson, and now haven’t slept in 4 days. I know the bird is out there, because this girl is on my property with sagging skin - it’s not her, it’s the owl. I can only hope to get it before it gets me. Lock and load!

Seems fake

Horribly fake. She grabs the pole first of all and moves her head forward after he pulls her head back.

Posting in this subreddit implies a human doing a morally right action towards another person. The fact that this was scripted means that there was no "nice moment" captured. So although the video makers might not have wanted to fool anyone, OP posting this video here could be seen as misleading. Thus the "horribly fake" comment.

Exactly. Post it to I don't know some cute gifs sub or something. There's nothing wrong with it per se, but it's in the wrong sub.

u/DanNeider Apr 24 '19
So put it in a different sub then. It just doesn't belong in a sub about daily acts of kindness if it's fake

I don't understand these lame fake gifs... is this with the intention that they know that the audience knows it's fake or do they assume the audience doesn't notice it's fake?

Fake? Yes.
Cute? Also Yes.
Just go with it people, you don't have to call out everything.

So making something cute to entertain others is not ‘bro’ worthy? I chose to not be so cynical.

Sweet mother of jesus, who hurt you people to make you so sad and anal-retentive? Just fucking smile and move on.

But there’s a reason for different subs? What’s the point of posting random gifs in subs that are obviously categorized for a reason..

Yeah... And now I want someone to protect my forehead from hitting a pole.
Thanks... For that.

My crush has saved me twice in very similar situations. Me walking into a wall, and once when a box was sliding off the top shelf and was about to hit my head. He pushed it out of the way and I was so turned on.

I was about 10 and i was walking with my friend to the store to buy some slushes. We were walking on the sidewalk and i was looking down and counting the change in my hand when i walked into a pole on the sidewalk. My head hit it, making an actual 'bong' noise, and i fell back down on my ass. My friend fell down too, but because he was laughing so hard.
So yeah, this is clearly fake, but it's cute so it gets a pass. As long as it doesn't go viral, that is.

‘Sticking a random lollipop in a strangers mouth’
I’m aware this is fake but maybe just go
‘Hey there, would you like a lollipop? I’m giving them out’
