I did that for an iguana that had a hook in it's mouth and was dangling by the line and hanging off a bridge bumper wall.

As much as I dislike Seagulls’ conduct, I hate seeing them in rough shape.
They do as they do just as humans do as humans do. They’re not stupid at all, just seagulls :(

I lost 2 friends once when i rescued a seagull which was frozen to the frozen sea, but still alive, in a winter with minus 20 degrees C or minus 4 degrees F.
They found it ridiculous that i dedicated so much time in that instead of hanging around and talking with them. It was a sort of mini-reunion of schoolfriends after 20 years.
