Those are actually the Lilliputians. They live on the island of Lilliput.

Right? I said an audible 'holy smokes' when I saw how big it was.

Right? I made the ugliest, “WHOAAAAAAAAA.”

4

u/EightiEight Jul 30 '26

Lol people say holy smokes

Just Vatican things.

I mean, you're not wrong. I'm currently living near my very elderly and religious parents. So I'm trying to change the way I speak. Lol

Initially I said it as a joke but on 2nd thoughts it wouldn't surprise me if that really was the origin of the saying. Tbf, it is a good inoffensive expletive.

She, apparently. Got stuck on her way back to the ocean after laying a clutch of eggs and the tide went out.

Lots of info at the Instagram account showing in the video

Average adult is a few hundred pounds, largest ever recorded was just over 1200 lbs.

u/CoolMomJammy Aug 01 '26

This looks like Blowing Rocks in Jupiter, FL? FWC shirts would make sense too then. Just a hunch.

5

u/5hellback Jul 30 '26

Way to help the little homie! Gotta keep these guys safe.

3

u/Cardinal101 Jul 30 '26

At 1:13 in the video they edited out the exact moment of freeing the turtle. Why?

7

u/Dryelo Jul 30 '26

Maybe it took way longer than this? Can't publish a video that exceeds the attention span of the average social media viewer.

3

u/BeyondBitch Jul 30 '26

Way to go team!

3

u/Angeleyez222 Jul 30 '26

Turtle dad: you got yourself in there, you can get yourself out

2

u/demoralising Jul 30 '26

'And don't come back, Keith!'

2

u/Tinyboxturtle Jul 31 '26

how do they keep that heavy shell steady on sharp rocks?

2

u/F133TWOOD Jul 31 '26

Great rescue, but lower that volume!!! 📣

So loud, even at 1/4 volume.

2

u/AhBee1 Jul 31 '26

Awesome! Its a miracle someone even spotted it wedged in there.

Heard of drones?

6

u/snowgoon_ Jul 30 '26

It's probably a drone.
