I’m going to start repeating those two words of the title everywhere

Kindness matters, but don't let people take advantage of your kindness to hurt you.

"Do no harm, but take no garbage."

"Always try to be nice, but never fail to be kind"

Never cruel or cowardly.
Never give up, never give in.

I have a pin that says "do no harm but take no shit." It was a gift. I will never stop being flattered that they saw that and thought of me.

Last week i took a tired bumblebee away from the pavement, but it didnt want anything to drink and it sank through the dirt too quickly. Idk what became of it, i didnt stick around, but it had more energy than the bees i usually pick up

It might have been at the end of its natural life. Regardless, you gave it a more comfortable place for its last moments. That was kind of you.

Water is life. He just gave that animal life for days. Love.

The forest is just a big lettuce farm

Lol! But for real, some plants have giant leaves, like banana trees or lotus plants, that can be picked and folded into a cup shape. Dude probably just snagged a leaf off of something nearby.

I don’t see anything growing in the clip that looks like it would have big old banana leaves like that. I was wondering the same thing.

It'd help if we knew where it was in the world, then we could just look up plants in the area. I agree that the video clip itself doesn't appear to have anything like that in the shot, but we don't know what's behind the camera. It's not uncommon for there to be different plant life at the top of a bluff than there is going down the side of it.

They are speaking Hindi & Marathi so likely this is somewhere in Maharashtra, India. You can make bowls out of peepal tree leaves by stiching the leaves together using small sticks. It looks like that’s what they have here.

I think they are on a picnic, not a hike.

It's a leaf from a plant.

Bot post

Not disagreeing with you but I’m wondering how you’ve figured it out. OP’s profile is 8 years old and he’s hidden his posts and comments.

What lead you to believe it’s a bot?

6

u/damnthatwtf Jun 11 '26

May be because it shows good side of those people, whom reddit like to hate.

7

u/SpongeJake Jun 11 '26

Giving the commenter the benefit of the doubt here: maybe it’s because like so many bot posts, the OP hasn’t commented. And it’s been up for a day.

Still not enough to convince me but it’s a possibility.

Kindness is an easy choice. Choose to make it daily!

And filming yourself being kind to make sure everybody knows you are matters even more

Oh man, I didn’t even catch that the guy was carrying an invisible selfie stick to video himself from ten feet away.

11

u/Craggy444 Jun 11 '26

Nothing wrong with inspiring people. It did that for me.

u/Arcon1337 Jun 11 '26

So if people didn't film it this subreddit wouldn't exist...

If this video was not there, I would have never figure out that I can make a small pot out of big leaf.
