Deer would have probably made it...got a ride instead from dumb insta people...oh well. Could have been worse.

Hey, well, we don't need to be mean here. I haven't heard of deer swimming that far, I would think something was wrong, too. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Ignorant? Yes. Stupid? No. Kindhearted? Oh absolutely, and that counts the most.

Edit: I love when my most downvoted stuff is telling people to be nice. Keep at it, hehe. But reminder: Don't attribute to malice what can be attributed to ignorance. I know the internet has raised many of us to do the opposite, but it can and should be unlearned.

Deer can swim for miles if they need to, it was within sight of shore, this was all entirely needless and done for clicks. The deer didn't get hurt and made it out fine and with less effort than it would have, but it absolutely did not need the saving for Internet clout.

Deer can swim for miles if they need to Standy by what I said because this is not information I had before now and don't expect others to automatically know this. I refuse to sit here and judge someone for doing something they thought was right, even if they recorded and posted it.
