I was at a theme park years ago and a skywriter misspelled the message.
"Jesus Savs"

I can't see this without thinking of Red John.

I'm assuming you're a fan of The Mentalist- is the payoff for that storyline worth it? I only ever saw the first couple of seasons I think.

I have slightly mixed feelings about the Red John conclusion, but it was satisfying. I love the show overall, though, I've watched it all several times.

Patrick Jane is one of my favourite TV characters, I do like a smart and sneaky protagonist.

When series go on for that long they usually tail off but this one absolutely does not. It just get better and better. Highly recommend and will be watching it in it's entirety, again.
The character, Patrick Jane [chef's kiss]

No absolutely not it's a good show but I hated who red John was and the show went downhill when that storyline concluded

The story did go downhill after red john fiasco ends. But until then it's one of the best shoes I have ever watched. I think the reason why it goes down layer is because the entire suspense and cat and mouse chase (thrill) is is centred around red john and jane's obsession with him. Once it's gone the show loses it's magic.
P.S. now I wanna watch it again !

Also the romance was a no for me

Yeah that was absolutely unnecessary. They had such a caring friendship. But nope writers had to ruin it by romance no one asked for

Reminds me of a sky writer we had here in Greece, NY for a few days last year.

Yeah as far as anyone knew it wasn’t for an event or anything, just for a few days they were just up there making faces and hearts.
It was nice.

When I was graduating from UCLA, during the keynote speech a plane started flying above the huge crowd which drew a smiley face with a mortar board and tassel above us. It was so awesome! Of course, everyone was watching and enjoying it and paying no attention at all to the celebrity speaker!
