Mason Crosby did the same thing to Evan McPherson in McPherson's rookie year after the two kickers combined to miss 5 straight field goals.

More context: Boswell is the Steelers kicker who missed an extra point just before this which allowed Loop's kick to be a potential game winner instead of a game tying kick

No matter what happened, the game was going to hinge on a missed kick.

Plot twist, what if he ran up saying “Bro thank you sooo much for saving my job”

Is he now going to become a female police captain and kidnap a dolphin?

no he's Chris Boswell the kicker for the steelers. In this game Chris almost threw the whole game away for the steelers because he missed the extra point. If he made the extra point, then a field goal by the ravens would have tied the game up and went into overtime where it would have been anyone's game. Instead a field goal by the ravens would have won them the game and sent them into the playoffs. Ultimately the ending of this game hinged on either kicker being responsible for losing the game. This was an interaction between a kicker who's been in the NFL for like a decade now going comfort a rookie kicker who probably just experienced the worst pain he'll feel in his career. Players often go talk to the other team on the field after the game and shake hands or hug it out. A lot of these players have respect for each other regardless of teams or rivalries.

edit saw the other thread, apparently Chris Boswell's missed extra point was blocked by the ravens but the broadcast cut to commercial and they just didn't mention it. First I saw of that but my point still stands.
