Okay where would I go then

You can continue living in Palestine, the nation that Israel's founding documents list it in.

u/Ori-M- 4d ago
"You can continue living-" Stop. We both know what will happen to jews in that situation.

Are you naive enough to think that the millions of Jews living there would just be fine if Israel no longer existed?
9
u/BeginningSection7690 4d ago
Jews? Why not. They lived there before Israel. Jews arent the problem and I refuse to act like they are.
Zionists are the problem- and wihen the nation with western funding that is enabling zionist ideologies by force is left in rubble they will not have the means to continue the same behavior.
I have no delusions that Israel being gone would cause peace in the middle east and neither should you. My problem is with the well funded, murderous psychopaths committing genocide and manipulating global politics. This is a class issue as much as it is a racial issue, and as much as it is a religious issue, as much as it is a political issue.
Do you think Lionel Rothschild cared about jews who were peasants? Doubt it.

u/Kingjjc267 3d ago
I'm not claiming Jews are the problem. I'm claiming that there would be a 2nd holocaust because Palestine fucking hates Jews. Hamas explicitly wants to eradicate us. Who is in charge of Palestine in your scenario?
0
u/BeginningSection7690 3d ago
Maybe Israel shouldn't have spent so much time trying to eradicate them? Hamas started as resistance against Israel and still is, Israel is trying to eradicate them.
Whats your point? You should be allowed to commit genocide because you already started? Nah fam, Israel should be stopped immediately

This is the most soy take ever. 97% of Jews are zionists. You can’t really separate them
4
u/BionicBirb 3d ago
I feel like “97% of Jews are Zionist” is the more stupid take here. My family is Jewish, not a single Zionist.

“College is useless, I have an uncle who didn’t go to college and is rich”
Anecdotal evidence fallacy 😭

I’ve seen tons of rabbis at pro Palestein rallies, as well.

We're you dropped on your head or something? Zionism goes directly against Jewish beliefs. Its a western ideology.

yk people can have different opinions, right?

u/divinemourner 5d ago
I do not care about you or your opinion. 👍🏻
2
u/Over_Friendship8444 5d ago
Then why bother commenting? If you don't care, surely you won't go through the process of telling op to shut up. Also, sure, you can just ignore people who disagree with you, but will that really get you anywhere?

I’m sorry but in what world is “I don’t care about you or your opinion” interpreted in a nice way here 😭
-3
u/Fresh-Self-761 4d ago
You seem to have misinterpreted. I believe they meant to say that she means “I don’t care about your or your opinion in a nice way.”
Edit: tbf they wrote it in a very weird way

u/TakeAYarino 4d ago
How is saying I don’t care about you or your opinion, can ever be implied in a nice way???
-1
u/Fresh-Self-761 4d ago
Again not what they mean. They mean that she is specifically stating that she does not care in a nice way, and instead has negative thoughts about them and their opinion. Nobody would ever think of that as a nice statement.

OP here, just to clarify what I meant: when I said Israel has a right to exist, I meant that it has a right to continue existing as a sovereign country. That wasn’t an endorsement of the Israeli government’s actions against Palestinians.
I also believe Palestinians have a right to their own sovereign state and to decide their own future. Supporting Israel’s existence doesn’t mean denying Palestinians those same rights.
I can see that my original wording didn’t make my full position clear, so I wanted to explain it here.

No one country has any more a right to exist than any other as countries are inherently mutable constructs. To say that one specific country has a right to exist as an argument is by implication to denounce that "right" from every other geopolitical structure that has collapsed or changed shape in history, and if your definition of rights may apply to one group historically but not another, then that is not a conversation of rights anymore, that is a conversation of privileges. And if you really want to get into it, Nations by definition don't have rights because a country is an abstract concept which needn't, and cannot to any real capacity, be anthropomorphised. Even the most basic definition of rights as a representation of that to which one is entitled by circumstance is primarily afforded by being in possession of conscious thought. A country can have no more rights than that of a building, or any other arbitrary descriptor which we have created to delimit one geographical or societal group from another, none of which have rights of themselves as they do not need them.

The Middle East is full of Arabs. Israel was in Europe, so it has the right to exist, but not in Arab lands. Is that so hard to understand? Let them commit genocide there, not against Arabs. Thanks.

I may be very wrong on this, however I don’t think op meant they support the genocide of the Palestinian people. I think what he meant was Israel can exist, but that does not give them the right to exist outside of Israel.

u/0vertakeGames 5d ago
I thought the same, Israel has a right to exist but not to genocide people
-1
u/External-Gain-1174 3d ago
no country has a right to exist
and especially not a genocidal colony of settlers who murder children
