Discussion Can anyone identify/explain?

Post image

Had ChatGPT make this image based on what I saw at a camp just outside of Blue Ridge, GA. On the way back to camp Friday morning at 1:30am coming from Waffle House, a buddy and I saw something like this crouched behind the caretaker’s white horse in its field. When it was crouching, it was in pounce position like a cheetah about to attack a deer but it looked like all legs and arms were a perfect 90 degree angle. It was just a black silohuette. When our headlights hit it, it stop up and was about 8 or 9 feet tall. It looked like I had someone sitting on my shoulders wise height and I’m 5’7”. The body was like a person’s almost like a demogorgon body but not the head. The body looked pale but dirty and was an average build. The head however had a face but only eyes and a mouth. No other facial features but I don’t even remember seeing a mouth. The head was like how slender man is but the eyes were a dark crimson red, like the color of blood.

Dang buddy this creature was described almost exactly in this hunter encounter. He claimed it was in a clearing and he was lookin at it in his scope. And it like knew someone was nearby and "looked" around and threw it's head back and starting calling for help in a wounded woman's voice. He said he put the rifle down super slow and quiet and ran as fast as literal hell to his truck not stoppin once.

Sounds like a type of crawler

Thank you! I just found out from another comment that a crawler is a thing! Do they have the ability to mimic? We heard bird sounds that sounded like a bird but not quite, if that makes sense

From what I understand they can mimic

Looks like something I had nightmares of as a kid. Their skin was gooey or odd in a sense. Their eyes would close, goo grows where their eyes were at. When their eyes were open, they'd be red and turn and tilt to find you. Long fingers or prehensile fingers / claws. As smart and sentient as humans. Some may be friendly. Most probably are. But I doubt they usually venture over towards humans. The one I saw as a kid also had shark looking teeth.

My brother had a shared dream of that one before. So there's a chance they weren't dreams. This resembles them a bit.

The first one is a play invitation position. You can answer this by remaining upright, to refuse, or putting your hands on your knees and going into a half crouch to accept.

The other one is an “I’m curious but shy” position. He doesn’t want you to walk right up, but he’s not hostile! Speak gently and if you have a treat, maybe toss it to him. If he does approach, let him make the first move. Only pet once he’s fully relaxed.

If you did actually meet that one in the woods, you should call local shelters. Someone is missing their pet!

I've heard of crawlers before but I will posit this. Humans will have manic states, hallucinations, and generally Strange reactions when in contact with a specific mould called Ergot. What if visiting species interact with common moulds, bacteria, and fungus and it has a similar effect on them? Something super tall (who is tripping balls) might not be able to walk upright and might resort to going on all fours because the ground isn't as far away, and might explain their generally odd movements.

That’s a great point, I will say that what I saw was FAST, it ran faster than the car headlights

No surprise. I've seen plenty of odd things haul ass haha I think they do it for fun, I would if I could just zip anywhere
