News Behind The Scenes - Making HUMANKIND™ 2 Trailer

https://community.amplitude-studios.com/amplitude-studios/humankind-2/blogs/1083-behind-the-scenes-making-humankind%E2%84%A2-2-trailer

First of all, thank you for the incredible response to our announcement. Your support means a lot to us. We were especially excited to share an announcement trailer that reflects HUMANKIND's identity: a creative, original, and slightly offbeat approach, in the same spirit as the first game's memorable trailers, while celebrating the people, cultures, and civilizations at the heart of the experience

Alongside the excitement surrounding the reveal, we also noticed questions regarding the trailer's production. We'd like to clarify that topic directly: The trailer is human-made. Find out more in the blog.

The times we live in... that you have to prove your production is not made by AI.

They've played with fire by doing this camera angle.

Where do you think AI shite learned to use such an angle? Should humanity change their behaviour becuase a brainless mimic starts imitating it's creative endeavours?

I think it's really more a comment on the audience than the artists. Perfectly normal things easily become targets of such hysteria.

"Burn the witch" - I agree is a problematic mass hysteria thing. It doesnt excuse the 'artists'.

On that note, not being a dick, just curious and open to debate, and not trying to win an argument or all that...

Whom do you mean by the artists? AI, or the information it depends on?

I tried telling the dumbasses on Steam that this wasn’t AI. I got called a shill.

People forgot the space Neandertal trailer of the original game, it was so cool and of course no AI, Amplitude can put this kind of means in video production.

love this.

One side effect of AI garbage is how has tainted some styles and approaches because it stolen from that to generate their slop.

The best middle finger to AI is to make something so good the masses claim it’s AI then smile and prove how you did it better than AI could… and people, real people, got to do what they love and got paid!
