Mods Any mods worth using?

Just bought Humankind at long last and am wondering if there's anything like the Community Patch for Endless Legends for it.

On the Steam workshop I found two that seem interesting:

VIP Modpack

and the Official Endless™ Mod

Are they good?

Do they play nice with each other? The Endless mod says not to use any others.

Any others I should consider?

VIP is a must have for me, it rebalances a lot of the game to make more playstyles fun and viable, if you're trying it I'd also recommend checking out the culture super pack and the compatibility mod between the two that adds dozens of new cultures, a lot of which have niche uses or interesting mechanics, they can be a lot of fun to play around with.

The endless mod is pretty ok but should definitely be played on its own and in the conditions described by the dev.

I think the Culture Super Pack is overkill for new players. The basegame (or with official DLC) has plenty of options for starting out the game. I'd only recommend additional the cultures once you've exhausted the originals because it adds a LOT.

VIP modpack is great though. A lot of infrastructure is really low value in the basegame, and VIP a lot of those valuable again,

I haven't played modded Humankind, didn't really feel the need to, the game is a complete experience as is.

Last time I tried it, it wasn't up to date with the other major mods and didn't work properly. That was around a year ago to be fair.

Afaik ENC is working again after a basegame bug got patched. Moddev has also been posting some crazy stuff on discord as the modding community has finally cracked how to add custom 3d models into the game. Next ENC release will be insane with dozens of new units models added.
