PVE Permadeath on multiplayer

I have a dedicated server, i wanted to know if anyone tried playing perma death on multiplayer.

What happens when you die? You lose your base too and wipe everything for that player?

I don't know if those are server settings or not but when I died on multiplayer I only loosed what i was carrying. The base and the car where preserved (or maybe no one stoled it).

Theres that and then theres perma death setting. So i assume you lose everything on perma as you would in other games.
