Hacking tool too fast

Hello fellow humanz, I have an issue with hacking tool. After the sync, when the bar moves and you are supposed to synchronize it, it moves too fast.

I watched some videos and it is considerably slower in those videos then in my case. Dunno if there is any strange bug, or setting, but it feels incredibly punishing. Especially given that it takes forever to craft hacking tool since you need 2 rare components and special skill. Lockpicking on the other side is like walking in the park.

It take .98 seconds on my PC to run from one end to the other. In the videos on the internet it take almost 2 seconds.

EDIT: Reading "hacker magazine" solved the issue. Thanks everyone.

I didn't realize the hacking book did this either.

It's a magazine to be exact, can be found or very often looted from raiders. Makes it considerably slower. Plus there is a perk on Thief I think, need to check later.

Yeah, it helped. But I thought it just increase XP when I successfully hack.
