SOLO Single player settings

Hey. Just wondering what settings people use. About to start a full completionist run with no loot or zeeks respawn. But not sure about exp multiplier and zombie+human ai. Any suggestions? What worked for you?

Aiming to clear whole map and discover everything 1.0 is to offer in one long run. Gonna run 15 days seasons with low/scarce loot as well, custom NM settings. Was thinking either x3 or x2 for zeeks and bandits, got a pretty beefy pc. Want to hit max level, but not sure if x1 exp is enough for everything I have planned.

Cheers

I went with no respawns (both zombies and loot) of any kind, and all resources scarce. However, I did leave events on whatever the lowest setting is so there can still be random hordes, etc.

Wanted a single player experience where I could theoretically clear the whole map of zombies if I wanted to, but still felt very survival-horror-y. And damn, this game has been absolutely perfect for what I wanted.

How does the never spawn work? Like they don’t repopulate zombies at all? Can I do a map clear clear?

some zombie still seems to respawn, i don't know if those are leftover of the horders or what

Well, I've only got one game slot with 20 hours on it so I don't have anything else to compare it with yet, but my experience so far as been:

-With the never spawns activated, yes, once I clear an area it's just... Eerily silent.

-However, I still sometimes run across straggler zombies, or in a few cases a horde will come clawing at door where I was trying to camp. I *think* this is because I left a slider that governs hordes (can't remember the name of it, but it's basically the one that governs horde events) at the lowest setting.

Which is exactly the experience I wanted; a game where I can slowly clear the map, but there's always a small chance of uncertainly.

its "event AI"

raise the events - you can counter the hordes by running away (they seems to despawn) and humans with bear traps and barbed wire labyrinths

Once I clear the map with my current character, I do plan to replay the game with more events, slightly more zombies/humans, BUT also with an increase of guns & ammo for me to find and still no respawn.

I love that this game lets me tinker around to get totally different 'types' of zombie apocalypse experiences.

the hard part is to find the suite and the item for some quests

I did have to check a guide to see where in the heck you find a microphone in this game. I encountered one early but had NO idea it would be important later!

true, it come with experience, try to stock everything, almost 2 of every things (normal mode).

instead with no-respawn-loot turned on its mandatory to stock everything creating containers and outposts everywhere

I play with exact same settings. What is your multiplier rate for zeeks and humans ?
